I have listened to this song so many times and by just many different singers but Reshmaji is the original and a legend. Not many sing like her because she sings from the heart and it is not easy not to control those tears welling up deep inside. I don't understand every word but I know this is one song that is very special. Music unites us all. Reshmaji was truelly blessed and we should all be grateful that we were able to share just a fraction of her gifted voice, presence and character.

We do not have that many folk singers left. We need to give Reshma, money so that the old age can be easy on her.
