You're letting his head to high... Ehm, sorry for my bad english. But the horse can more relax, when the head is a little bit down. Ehm, yes i am dutch so its a little bit difficult to explain..
@WolfLinkTriforce Lol sounds like summin I would need, i am 5"1 and i rode a 16HH recently for jimcana games (sorry can';t spell it) and I couldn't get back on her after jumpin off for a games because My stirrups were also short lol x
do you have any tips for grooming a friesian, my gawjus boy loves rolling in anything especially mud and i find it hard to groom him anyway as i'm 5,4 and he's 16.3 so any tips you have please tell me coz im pretty much desperate
He is hard to ride now that I'm asking him to engage and collect. Sometimes, I get sore hands after riding him. I also have a hard time keeping him on my aids. He tend to get his neck up high and lock it to escape or run away from my aids...at the time the video was taken, we had just meet. I now own him for a year.

im not here to critique you. that horse seems very nice, even on his bad day

@horseluvah: I reccommend a stepstool. I've seen other pple use stepstools before. But then again I'm 5'9" and my paint pony it 13.3 hands....... :-)

You can use a step stool...That's what I use. :-)

i recommend covering him up with a fly sheet to keep it off of him.... my friesian is the same way. only the legs get dirtyy

at the cantering part, the girl is a bit tense on the upper part of the body, but the rest was good.
