Draconian fare hikes, service cuts wher passed today.

I've been bugging my senators all week, and lets just say I gave 'em an ear full over the phone. The fare will go up to$3.50 here in Nassau with LI Bus, which will pretty much drive away the ridership and destroy the system. Factoring in the denial of unlimited ride cards, it's an over 100 PERCENT fare increase. I wont be able to afford to ride LI Bus anymore and may be forced to move as a result.

$3.50 is to much. Fares have been skyrocketing as a result of Governor Pataki cutting mass transit subsudys. Not to mention the subsudys cut by Reagon, and Bush the father.
