i love wacraft 3's story, but it kinda got ruined in WoW. they had to make so many story sacrifices for the sake of gameplay. it seems like blizzard is just throwing together lore now, rather than spending time to create a rich and dynamic history. but arthas and ner'zhul fusing makes a ridiculously powerful being.
you didn't play the campaign obviously. this is the fusing of the most powerful being in azeroth with the human paladin arthas, creating an impossibly powerful entity. be afraid. be very afraid.
When they make Arthas a raid boss in WoW, he will still waste everyone. And Illidan isn't dead, he retreated to Outlands, because he's a raid boss in The Burning Crusade. Even when Arthas is a raid boss, they'll make it so that he doesn't die permanantly, just like Illidan.
Arthas, The Lich King. He's such an ass. He seemed nice at the begining, but then his obsession to save his people led to their destruction.
He has provided great plot points for the lore, and I salute him for that. But I still despise the man, betraying Uther, his Father, nearly killing Illidan (Whic, by the way, is not dead. He retreated back to Outland where, while he licks his wounds, contemplates his loss and grows mad every passign day. I fear for him, for he is my favorite character)

err darkduelist illidan didn't die and arthas is a 70 man raid or more because he is 1 of the most powerful entities in the universe. Undead ROCK ON!!!
i think arthas will more likely be out lvl 120 sorta shit but will have to be lower than 40 man becuase they are cuttin out all 40 man raids cos its stuiped and they should have never have made such large groups for raids
actually a lot of the storyline is also put into the books, look at alexstraza and so on. I hear also a rumor of deathwing being brought into wow, not sure if its true though.
Any how, Arthas was the best thing that happened to the alliance, paladins suck anyhow ^^

kil' Jaedan was tryin to stop the lich king cause he was gaining to strong. then arthas fused with him, so he passed kil'jaedan by far. Arthas would have to be like a 60 man raid...hed be fucking invincible
I hope from the bottom of my heart that Arthas will never be a raidboss in WoW. He is so great character that he deserves better. I will quit WoW at the same second when I see some players wielding The Frostmourne or wearing The Crown of the Lich King. Hopefully there will be Warcraft 4...

Well sometimes it's helpfull to know the franchise of a company,especially if you want to work for them.
Also, this story is totally worth knowing by heart. I find the plot rivalling even that of Tolkien's Middle EArth books.
