AHH, I'm going to go crazy waiting for the 3rd book!! I finished The Fall a few days ago & am lost as to what to read now. I really hope movies are made. I love the non Hollywood, lusterless vampire! Originally dirty, evil, & terrifying, not sparkling & whinny. Good job boys.

I just finished reading the book and i just couldn't put it down!!!! And i was delighted to find out that this is just the first in a possible trilogy! I would love to see it as a movie as well & what direction the movie will take compared to the movie

The Strain is the modern day Bram Stroker's Dracula! Its a combination of 28 Days Latter, I Am Legend, Blade 2 and CSI!

Right, this is a true modern vampire story. I'm inmersed in it. The only thing I kinda disliked is the character of Dr. Goodweather and the scenario with his son, is such a bad cliche....nevertheless is a great book.

just got this book today, so far it is awesome and i havent even got into the part where the people meet the vampires, on page 36, so ya they are just about to introduce the vampires......... does anyone know if he is going to make a movie about this book, please let me know.... if he did it would be an amazing movie.

I can't wait till Del Toro brings out real vampires, he is going to do awesome. I just hope he doesn't go and make them look too cheesy like Blade 2 yet not as cliche like Dracula.
