what a difference a drummer can make. Just compare the drummer in 1992, 1993 with this new drummer... the new one plays lifeless & boring. He looks like "i'm bored. i wanna go home"
In 2004, the year to which this video dates, I was finishing my associate degrees at the University of Cincinnati. I had a professor who liked The Cure enough to have a sketch of Robert Smith in his office. This video reminded me of how very good that time was, despite a few trivial things that went wrong. Many thanks for posting this particular video of The Cure. :)

@uglyguido One, that song is just a three years younger than disintegration and two look up the albums BLoodflowers(2000) and 4:13 Dream(2008) he didn't completely leave music like this behind because those newer albums are full of it. and they're working on another album right now
@langlokken Yes, thats what is being said. lol And it isn't really far fetched either considering 4:13 Dream was in 2008. Too bad the person I wrote that comment for ignored it. Guess they will stay ignorant. Oh well, they're missing out XD
I have always loved this song!! It is so haunting and mesmerizing!! I have loved The Cure for 27 years now and they have never ceased to amaze me with the beauty of their songs and melodies!! What a phenomenal band with such pure talent!! Robert is truly amazing in every aspect!! A poetic genius indeed!! Their music has always been the soundtrack of my life!! So wonderful in every way!! I love it all!! And Robert is just so gorgeous to top it off!! :) The Cure forever!! ♥
Trilogy sounds ridiculously good but one wonders if it wasn't cleaned up even a little. I was at this concert and ended up getting a bootleg as it was broadcast on the Edge radio station and this sound is totally unaltered. Love RS screaming "Always is!" unlike the CD version. Agreed I liked them as 5 piece better but check out Underneath the Stars from their new disc. It`s the best tune they have done since one of the Disintegration classics
