  • Hey. I just discovered you and your videos. Impressive. Anyway, it might interest you to know that I really didn't come out totally until I was 42. Yep, I was a screwed up, repressed, mess. But meeting a new young friend who happened to be gay just opened the floodgates. You should feel good about living in a society where it is so much more accepted and in the open than it was when I was your age. Did I just say "when I was your age?" OMG I'm turning into my father. Oh yeah, first pride...48.

  • First pride for me was 2010. Except i'm a PFLAG straight :p does that count??

  • I was going to go to Brighton Pride a couple of weeks ago ... But noone told me the day had changed to Saturday (I though it was on Sunday), so I ended up working during Pride ... Sooooo gutted! So, no, I havn't been to Pride yet. But I will next year fo sho!!!!!! XD

  • Haven't gone to any pride events yet. Not sure that I am ready for that just yet. I don't fit the stereo type and don't wish to be viewed that way. But then again in my case I really didnt come to terms with it until sept of 2009. Prior to that I spent over 30 years fighting it, living in denial, and living a lie. I tried so hard to be the good lil christian boy, but after all those year i finally came to terms with the fact that there are some things in life that duct tape won't fix.

  • I've never been to one. I though about going one year in DC, but I couldn't get off work. I also had no one to go with.

  • Im 18 and I never been to a pride. Will in the future but I don't live in the city so it'll be awhile before get to go to a pride.

  • im 16 and i never went to one lol but yeah idk where it is so i dont thin ill be going anytime soon! what did you do there??

  • congrats on the 700!!!

  • I attended the first Pride march in New York City, Sunday 28 June, 1970. I had just turned 21 at that time.

  • Dang it what is going on, your grow up right before our eyes, nice five o'clock shadow.

I was 19, it was in Dallas, Tx, I was scared but excited all at one time.

  • @collegeswimx awe, thank you:)

  • One thing I respect is that you are not shy at expressing yourself, and you come across well. Then again, I may be biased, because I think you are a handsome Lad! Are you in college? What do you plan on majoring in??

  • @Thugpreacha i'm going in to my senior year of high school. i plan to major in math, and get a degree in teaching, and then i'm going to teach high school math. hopefully one day, i'll move up to college level teaching.

  • 27. Los Angeles. I had never felt so "not-alone" before. Joyous.

  • I'm glad my home town is building up a stronger community. Pittsburgh seems a bit behind the curve. But it is, was, and will always be home and awesome!

  • If you're talking about Pitt pride, I was there. I worked one of the booths. Wherever it was, glad you got to go! Oh, and your hands are very expressive, lol.

  • @geminipa on june 12/13 (or whenever)?

  • @RunnerDude4114 Yup, the 13th (my birthday!). Several attendees had obviously been drinking too many frozen cosmos from the Harris Grill booth, but everyone seemed to be having a good time.

  • You're such a stud muffin

  • @bulafritz thank you:)

  • cool

  • OMG your turning into a hunk mr man, I like listening to your vlogs and rants all the time but this video I totally noticed your turning into a super hunk. Love the 3 day growth on ya Dan and keep up the great videos :o)

  • @guysjiveroom haha, why thank you:) the three day growth is just an expression of my laziness.lol

  • Hi Dan. Awesome video; very cool shirt btw. I have never been to a Pride celebration unfortunately.

  • @tattooedboy04 you should go to one:) and thank you:)

  • 21 And it was awesome.

  • @scottklaw haha, i wanna go again when i turn 21, i think it would be a lot more fun:)

  • I've never been to Pride either

  • @hardscissors you should go:)

  • Wellllll, I haven't been to a pride yet, but I'm 18 so its slightly excusable (and there aren't too many where I live). But next year in college I plan on driving to a nearby city, probably Austin or Dallas, in order to go to a decent pride parade.

  • @kifo136 go for it:)

  • I was in my late 20s and went to Pride in NY. The best part about it was all the people, literally from all over the world, who came together and were so friendly over that whole weekend.

  • @steve3ny was it in NYC?

  • @RunnerDude4114 Yes, it was. It was amazing. I've been to Price in NYC since then and in other places, but it was never as magical as that first time. I'm glad you got to experience your first one.

  • I haven't been to a Pride yet, but it's only a matter of time before I do. And Daniel...your subs love you haha. You can't do any wrong in our eyes :D

  • @TheUrgeToEmerge haha, you should go to one, after all, your not too far from pittsburgh, right?

  • I was 21 when i went to my first pride... o wait that was this year lol it was ok. I was kinda down cuz there was a group of like 4 single guys (not hot at all) that were like swarming bees and it kinda made me disappointed that i am still single and that they acted like that. I also came out to my parents over the phone while driving back from pride though, my dad thinks im confused and my mom just was in disbelief but they seem disappointed too. thumbs up for being disappointed yay lol

  • @alabamashepdog uhh thumbs up for coming out! forget your parents, that's great what you did:) and don't worry about all the single men swarming like bees, just go and have fun:)

  • I am going to my first Pride this weekend in Toronto, SO EXCITED!

  • @TheTommyGlee OMG you'll have to tell me how it is:)

  • @RunnerDude4114 OMG Pride was soo much fun. It was literally 100 degrees but it was fun to see such diversity. I don't really get to see that where I live. I saw my first drag queen!

  • Went to my first pride when I was way too old !!!

  • @trisshandy well better late than never:)

  • I lived in isolated towns most of my life. No Pride there. Saw people going home from Pride in a large city, but did not know when it would be held again. Finally, I was able to learn when Pride was held, and commuted into a city to see it. I think I was in my 40s when I was first able to see a I watched several prides from a coffee shop. That was an amazing experience. I spent several years staffing a booth at Pride. The last three or four years I've been in the Pride parade.

  • @garysdeskcom well good for you:) that sucks living in an isolated town.

  • @RunnerDude4114 I am glad I live in a city all of the time. My home is in the heart of the gay community. I think a lot of young gays move to the cities, not because they hate small towns, but because they want community, and to be understood and accepted. Being understood and accepted in small communities is not easy.

    Enjoy your videos. :-D

  • Congrats to your first pride experience. It seems like you really had a great time. Congrats to you on your post count.

  • @OLDS98 Thank you:)

  • I subscribed recently, mostly because you seem pretty down to earth. I've never been to a pride event, but I've seen a lot of coverage by the religious nuts. Of course, they always focus on the fringe stuff.

  • @l0gically well thank you for subscribing:) and you should go to one, they're fun:)

  • I have never been to one. I didn't think Pennsylvania did these kinds of things. Theres never any around here.

  • @Whiteboymdew they usually do in the bigger cities.lol

  • @RunnerDude4114 Weird because I live in the third largest in PA.

  • 700 yay :D.

    Love your vids ^^

im 16 << i never went to one..

  • @DarkTundraS i was so excited:D and someday you should:)

  • I watched this before it even had a stillframe. just saying.

  • @luanlegacy LUAN!!!!:D i haven't heard form you in forevs! i was starting to think that you forgot that i existed.haha
