OMG this game piss me off. I was playing Legacy Mode, went undefeated 30-0, won 3 belts, moved up in weight class, was fighting Sugar Ray Leonard, was beating him every round, then in round 4, OUT OF NOWHERE...the referee stops the fight and says Sugar Ray won....I got so pissed off, I am going to sell this game at gamestop towards credit for Batman Arkham City.

I like how EA MMA when it comes to improving your stats. Just make sure u get A grade on first trial and the next one u can just simulate the training n they always simulate according to the previous grade score. Coz who wanna play training anyway. We pay 60 bucks to fight in a ring. Not play some mini game. I hope FN Champion will improve on that sector.

I personally had it with fighting games onlines because of lag and leveling up uber characters. I played every fight night and some UFC games online. Every game I join has a laggy player and my punches or defenses don't come out on time. And when I'm winning, the player disconnects his game. I lost so many games because of this. Also this game has a leveling up system. when you level up your character, you can just spam punch buttons and you'll win.

the stun is bull shit, im smashing some rookie fucking him up for 8 rounds had heaps of head shots and counters, and then he throws one random punch and i get stunned, my punches dont seem to affect them at all

@fabtellem the series has never had good collision detection, and it is made worse by the speed. HOWEVER, here's the trick to that; if you get beat to the punch with a haymaker as you yourself are throwing a power shot or hook, you'll be stunned or floored. If you get caught while walking in on a guy with a "charging" type punch, you'll either get floored or KO'd. The trick with the timing, and this is the bitch of it, is to catch the other guy.

@fabtellem also, if the other guy has maxed hooks or uppers, you're pretty much screwed if you get caught. Let me run the list down; 1) get beat to the punch with a maxed out hook or upper power shot, and your shot is a regular shot, you'll be stunned 2) take too many body blows and eventually you'll be stunned. 3) walk in carelessly with a power blow and get caught with a maxed out haymaker and you'll be floored or KO'd.

I know because I've done it; although it was a lucky shot, my last legacy mode fight ended in 20 seconds.

This game is pretty incredible to me, one of the best sports games ever. BUT... they need to make changes next time. How about mdoern boxers? The whole point is to make it as realistic and hands on as possible.

Heaven forbid they give you something that takes time. Training for boxing isnt fun. But you do it to get better. Just like training should. Besides wishing they could have included maybe a thing or two, whats in the game is well worth your money. I bought this game for 20 dollars NEW at Gamestop.
