  • idk, in soo bahk do, we have to do this *hip movement* when blocking in sam bu, well its a white belt stuff anyway :)

  • hana

    chotzon

  • esta mal esees el 2 kicho

  • I find it funny how ppl seem to think there is only one way to do this form. This is how my dad was taught the form in Korea from hwang kee in the early 60's, only thing I would say is slow down a lil n seperate each stance n technique.

  • Is this serious? You can do better!!

  • It was entertaining to watch. However, we were taught that after you begin from Jum-Bee and you turn left 90 degrees into your left back stance, you do your left middle block followed with a middle punch. Then you step forward into a right front stance and a right middle punch. I only saw you do a left middle block, but no left punch to follow. I find it interesting that there are so many different variations on a standardized form.

  • Hmmmm. i am orange belt (Blue strip)Chil guep (7th Guep) i can do that formto a tee, thank you Sa Bom Robert Hedges and your back stance is well the less the said the better and yes

BRichards said you thought it was a japanese martial art, its sinlar yes thats because the founder of our art incorperated Southern Chinese ideology, that is why we have both short and lng stanced movements, this is the 3rd (Sam meaning 3 in Korean)

  • Horse Stance, Horse Stance.

  • By watching this form at first I thought a Japanese Martial Artist was performing, but then your stances aren't deep enough for that. Your front stances need to be down more as indicated by the others. When you perform your first move (Back Stance with an in/out block)- watch your movement. Rotate your hip more then simply executing an Japanese style block. When coming down the center - keep your pace the same. Move, execute and then move.

  • fishgutz is right I mean you develope so many bad habits in your poomse by just doing speed you're front stances have turned into walking stances. =/.

  • Forms are not a race to the end. One should pause long enough to separate each move. Deeper stances. More focus and proper punches.

Take a breath. Remember "tension and relaxation."

And again. Forms ARE NOT a RACE.
