Anybody talking about the number of titles to compare Brady and Manning has no clue of how to observe a QB. There is a reason why teams try to keep Manning off the field and beat the Defense. It's because Manning is so good. Brady is too, but not like Manning. Try and beat Big Bens defense, or Flacco's defense, which is not happening. The one year Bob Sanders was healthy we won a superbowl, with no prob. Freeney and Mathis help, but Colts need shut down Corners and Safety's and a Ray Lewis

It's simple, if you were scouting not only QB's but any position, would you only pick from the BCS title winning team???? Or would you look around for the best individuals for each position? If this were Golf, or Boxing, then I would agree that one individual decides his own fate.

Well, were I separate them is the ability to read defenses and change plays at the spur of the moment. I haven't seen anything like Manning. Everything else is about equal,cept I think Brady's deep ball is better.

@smoothhoopinal Despite being a New England fan, I agree with you there.Brady does have a problem with tough defenses, at least since I started watching him two years ago. I have not seen them win a Superbowl.

@smoothhoopinal Yea dude, totally agree. I'm a Bucs fan and a UK fan. I saw Peyton rip us apart for 3 years in the SEC, then come back 21 points in 4 and a half minutes on Monday night to beat us. Manning has had a DECENT, not great, defense maybe 4 or 5 years he's been in the league. The guy is an offensive coordinator with mad, old school, pocket passing QB skills. He's the sickest at his position I've ever seen. And I'm not a Colts fan, just a football fan.

@Callmebob137 He has better WRs than Brady??? Brady has or has had Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, Chad Ocho Cinco, and Deion Branch. Manning has had Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, and Pierre Garcon. The later two probably would not have as much success as they have without Manning.

@Callmebob137 Hey bud, the only years Brady won a Super Bowls in, 01, 03, and 04, the Pats D was ranked 6th, 1st, and 2nd respectively. When Brady doesn't have a TOP 6 D, he cant win a Superbowl. In 2006, when Peyton won his Super Bowl, the Colts D was ranked 23rd. So you don't know what you are even saying. You give Peyton a top 6 D, he'd have 3, 4 or 5 rings. Learn some facts before you get on here looking like you're gay for Brady and the Pats.

@mcalte19 lets b real every team stole signals its not a big deal, and troy brown was never a top receiver come on, manning had harrison, wayne, clark, edge james great offensive line for years along with one of the best pass rushers of the decade with freeney and mathis and other geat players like bob sanders and brackett and a "defensive mastermind" in dungy so as far as talent, manning has had alot more around him, its amazing how many times peyton has choked under pressure

Brady: 34,744 yds 261 tds

and manning has only been playing 2 years longer and tom brady doesnt have the mental capacity to run the entire offense AND individually coach the recievers.

Peyton is the greatest of all time for those reasons.

@Ozkarftw With the exception of 81, all of Montana's Super Bowl wins came with top 12 defenses.... AND he had the greatest pass catcher of all time, Mr. Jerry Rice. Joe Montana was a great QB, who was part of a great system. Those 2 things worked in his favor to win him 4 rings. I really believe Peyton is a better QB than Montana.

@TheMichaelJoshua totally agree. I feel the same way about Tom Brady (as you said about Montana). I'm a fan of all three QBs, but I believe Brady and Montana are products of phenomenal coaching and general management to build them great teams. The Colts have been in decline since the middle of the last decade, with consistently terrible defense, special teams, and repeated draft blunders. But i don't think anyone's played the QB position as well as Peyton.
