  • these things are sooooo freakin slow XD i finally got mine online lol......im writing this on it.....i believe it was like 1998 when i got it soooo yeah

  • I got this laptop at good will only 10 dollar with power cord. Of course it old .

  • пипец он гонит, так ноут попереварачивать и хочет чтобы он не завис после этого, а портативная XP работает и даже не плохо (RU)

  • is it true this was worth 4000 in 1998?

  • @0badboy0 Yeah, these were high end.

  • i have 1 of these lmao what r they worth? mine is in serious mint condition tbh

  • @0badboy0 Maybe around 35-75$

  • @jamesrschultz damn is that it :(

  • I got XP running on this thing and it does not seem much slower than 2000/98. 2000 even seems to take longer to boot. Office 2007 also runs quite well on it.

  • It's not S-Video, it's PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse Port...

  • Hello James~ It has been a bit over a year since you made a post on Dell Latitude CPI-Thank you for creating it! I just came across one of these little guys...Wow!! 10 Years old!? LOL, I know little of Laptops! Can you tell me; I am missing the 'J' key... keys from 'A' through 'L' do not work. Can I remedy this problem without spending $200.00? Thank You for Your Help! Have a Great Day!!

  • @MsCrissC I can sell you my CPIA with keyboard for a very low price...

  • @jamesrschultz ACTuALLY GO ON EBAY! usually 15-20 dollars

  • I have this same computer and it has xp installed. It doesnt seem to slow but i havent hooked it up to the internet because it doesnf fucking come with the port.

  • @drfelgood5 You can get pc cards for dial up, dsl, and even wireless that will fit it for $15

  • I refurbish "old" computers as a hobby and just finished setting up a cpi a366xt using linux as the OS. As a matter of fact, I have seven highly efficient, networked linux machines that qualify as ancient and perform beautifully on all levels. The only problem I've had with media is using Multimedia Studio, and that gives even my Win box fits.

  • i know that ur selling it now but back then what did u use it for?

  • @wahoowahoo777 I never did use it... lol

  • pentium II?!?!!?

u wont even beable to run anything xD

  • You people fuckin discus me, Always bad mouthing the older shit, First off we had to use the older shit to get to the new. and also the older laptops work just fine, so what its not paper thin. People get what they can afford. Fucking fat assed lazy americans. Never satisfied.

  • Well, I'm not the one with the bad mouth here...

In this country, we have money, and we have taste. We can do better than a 333MHz CPU. Please come visit here sometime, and let me know what you think.

I use 2.1GHz dual core daily, and I am satisfied with that, not a 333MHz 256MB RAM 10GB HDD machine.

  • Pentium II 366Mhz machines are more capable than you think if you upgrade the OS to Linux and run a lightweight GUI like IceWM or Lxde. =)

But, not everyone has the mad computer science skills that I have either..

  • Bad mouthing Americans because we give a bad review to a laptop that even for it's time was bad, damn, I have a Digital Hinote Ultra 2000, thats 1996, and it has twice the video ram of this dell. Even with it's slower processor, it is able to handle windows xp and on only 80 mb of ram, it never freezes! So next time you want to bad mouth an entire country for the way it treats a peace of shit, just remember that I put in 5 months of hard work to get a relic to run a modern os, and I love it!

  • I have the exact same laptop, except that mine just have a 6GB Harddrive

  • amazing dude do you know where i can buy that power cord??
