Fact: IPCC 2007 does not show temperatures after 1998.

Fact: Global temperatures have been falling since 1998 ... HadCrut3 data + satellite.

Fact: The earth has been warming since the Little Ice Age.

Fact: The Little Ice Age was a period of low solar activity ... we are entering another such period.

No scientist will contest the above ... but the press will not talk about it.

Hadcrut3 data is from the IPCC WP No1 ... of course they didn't publish data for the past decade in their latest report!

Interesting on this question in regards to climate change. I actually agreed more with Sarah Palin's answer, which states that climate change is apart of the Earth's cycle and is not influenced by man at all. There is plenty of scientific and historic data to support this position. I totally disagree with Joe Biden's answer.

With that said, I do not support Sarah Palin, but will give her 1 point for this question and her answer. Global Warming is a Fraud! We all know it.

Cutting carbon emmissions etc etc would be a bullet which we would all have to bite. If global warming is a fraud, then what is the true objective of the movement? What else unifies them?

B controls C, and A controls B, therefore A controls C. That only follows logically if you use the word "control" to mean the same thing in each premise. And it doesn't look like you've done that.

To control the world suggests that a group is holding a great deal of power and influence and is able to persuit specific objectives on a global scale.

This you would have if you controlled the world's energy by owning all of the resources for producing it, however

it is difficult to see how increasing the cost of consuming energy, so that it reflects the true cost of consuming it (i.e. internalising the negative externalities), is comparable to "controlling" the world's energy supply.

So perhaps you could explain why they are the same? And i'll also ask again, if global warming is a fraud, then what is the true motivation?

You say it is to "control" the world's energy. Ok, to do what? What are they really going to try to do with power?

@ScepticalPenguin What do you think? People with power only crave one thing more power. Money is an imaginary thing, just a means to an end. You don't seem to understand to greed of man very well, or you don't know the history of mankind. I would agree that altering the natural CO2 levels is bad, I just fail to see how giving the vested few control of it will decrease its production. It is about control not CO2 reduction.
