  • I'd love a roomba but my cats have their own cardboard shredding business in the hall and one of them likes to do the odd Tommy tit in the corner and test the shreds by covering it in them. Do you think roomba can suck up a lump of cat shit covered in shredded cardboard? Being hippies, we also produce a lot of hair.

  • An elephant stepped on R2D2.

  • Good information. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

  • My wife and I.

  • True story! Once you organise your house for the little guy (tidy up objects, close doors, flatten rugs etc.) it does work a treat. Cheers

  • Nice beard, have you entered any competitions?

  • It's prolly the nails

  • your just a dope

  • sexist, why you calling it a her loool

  • @pcangeldust because if it was him it would stop half into cleaning turn on the t.v. and demand you make him a sandwich

  • nice energy saving bulbs,

  • Other roomba videos to choose from, as I am thinking about getting one, but this one has a cute guy : D

  • We are well on our way to total physical atrophy.

  • Where did you get the flat floor vents?

  • why dont you just vacuum yourself

  • @datexrap3d Ha ha!

  • Respond to this video... Ha ha!

  • Lay down a hallway rug between your rooms mabe?

  • "She wont be able to ride over it"

  • You changed your floor vents to accommodate a stupid floor sweeping toy that costs $350 and will break in two years? Great move, Rockefeller.

  • @whkrause I think it's more about saving time and having a clean floor . The cost isn't that much .

  • I think it would die in my room... too many clothes.. :/

  • The floor vent is a small problem. We have two Roombas and we love them. And our Chihuauas are enjoy watching them and one is a tea cup. They find them entertaining, and the way they are always tearing up paper; the Roomba comes in mighty handy. You just have to remember to clean the brushes from time to time. That's it.

  • Does it go on carpet

  • @flintskater21 yes it does! Thanks for watching! Check out some of my other videos at YouTube / LaneVid & YouTube / TheFunnyrats

  • @flintskater21 yes

  • @furuzon12 You're welcome! Glad that I could help you out! Thanks for watching, check out some of my other videos on my other channels: youTube / LaneVid & YouTube / TheFunnyrats

  • I like how its a female because it cleans your house. XD

  • @Mojave706 haha... actually her name is rosie after the maid on the Jetsons cartoon who was also a robot!

  • cliff sensors

  • Nice man, thank you for your advice.

  • @ArthurGC85 no problem, hope it was useful!

  • dont pay attention to the haters man you brought out some important things to consider. nice vid!

  • @skatercrazed Thanks for the awesome comment! Much appreciated! If you want some more vids from me, check out my other channels!

  • One of the funniest obstacles for it was the toilet rolls. I suggested I wall mount the toilet brush, rolls and use some wall mount soap dishes to lift the cat's bowls off the floor. This received negative feedback. Until I got up one morning to find the roomba had snagged one of the rolls and then TP'ed the house.

  • @lexichronicle2 hahahaha... that's awesome! Well I doubt that it was awesome to clean up, but it sure would have made for some good video!

  • Being in England, where air conditioning is still space aged technology none of us have, air vents aren't an issue. There's a half inch step between the kitchen and back room, which it can climb. I sanded all the floors and tiled the kitchen and then figured that'd be ideal for the roomba, so got one. But yeah, there are things ppl need to think about before getting one. The floor has to be as clear as possible, or it'll spend all it's charge bumping off shoes & shopping bags or tangled in wires

  • BORING SPEECH, BORING VID !!!

  • @Linksforever1 Sorry you didn't like it

  • ROOMBA IS NOT "SHE" IT IS "IT" !!!!

  • @Linksforever1 My Roomba is a He :P I know, because he has trouble around the kitchen.

  • If you had just put tape over the floor vent dial, it would have saved you money. But I think the new floor vents are very stylish. So maybe the update was two fold.

  • @NeoGeo70 I do like the look of the new ones better!

  • @l4anyrat , they are awesome. :)

  • put a 6inch roomba lift kit, some baja mudders and a cold air intake w/ K&N air filter (+15hp), it'll fix that right up

  • @domeztik haha nice!

  • It gets stuck there because of the stair detection thing.

  • @olsalesd it seems like it would not get stuck there because the stair detection thing would catch it

  • this guy isa prime candidate for "TOOLBAG OF THE YEAR"

  • @domeztik Why do you say that?

  • How loud is the Roomba?

  • @someamerican it's pretty loud... probably wouldn't be able to sleep with it on

  • >LOL

Mine has a problem with those darn vents to. I got a 440

  • @Skippy585 i wish that there was a fix for that!

  • @Skippy585 That's why I got a mint robot

  • @phonenumberlookup1

Cool bot, but I needed something a bit more versatile like the Roomba, I will say that your bot is very quite due to the absence of a vacuum and bush motor.

  • u should rename this video to "gay porn" -jk. thx for the advice-very helpfull

  • @wdisney9000 glad you liked it!

  • use the invisible wall on the 1 part seem weird but i had a rug it couldn't do. mine was the very first model too.

  • @starknight97 I really don't like those invisible walls that much

  • @l4anyrat a flat object or any blocking item will also work like a giant beanbag or a box.

  • i wonder why IT gets stopped on a bump?? oh yeah it not an all terrain vehicle...

  • @trufiend138 haha... it's needs some super swamper tires!

  • Kudos for the CFL's!!!

  • @mbunds Thank you, thank you! gotta save money whenever possible!

  • i`ll never heard about floor vents too, thanks for the review, i`ll order my roomba soon

  • @KR0NO awesome! They are great!

  • man i wished i had the money for this.. i really want one for me mom! pretty cool device in so many ways!

  • Yes they are! I love mine! I just wish that I could get a house to use it in!

  • Good review :)

  • thanks!

  • check the robot add on guys... they apparently have a mat that tells the cliff sensors to "go around" you might be able to put something around your vents or spray paint them or something to trigger it to skip the vents.

  • @premiertremere i know that you wrote this about 5 months ago, but I saw those things, and they look kinda funny, but it would work on the vents i bet! I have since moved, so I don't have that problem anymore

  • Hi, I'm thinking about getting one for my appt. I read that the roombas, even the newest generation ones, are prone to breakdowns and wear out quickly, sometimes within a few months even. What's your experience with wear and tear and general durability? Thanks.

  • mine's been good for theh year that i have had it. if you have long hair or a pet, you will have to clean very often. other than that though it is very durable. the side brush breaks pretty easily. but I have floor vents, so that could be what's tearing that up. hope this helps

  • thanks, man. That was helpful.

  • @marrzipan no problem, glad to help!

  • floor vents n air vents? what r they for?

  • Seriously? They're for heating and cooling your house.

  • @erzhs to get air conditioning in yoru house!

  • Lawl! This was added 4 days after my b.day

  • Nicely done - thank you for the information.

  • @efraimarenas No problem, let me know if you have any other questions! did you ever get one?

  • Good info...I'm pretty sure my apartment is for the roomba in mind...no floor vents..no drop offs....its completely level and flat.

  • sounds like the perfect place for one!

  • Use one of the virtual walls.

  • i have about 10 air vents

  • Ahhhh... maybe you could tape some cardboard over it for the time being? Just saying...

  • that's a good idea, i am working on buying some flatter vents, i have changed about 3 of them, and they seem to be working, plus i like the way they look

  • THANKS FOR THAT 411!!!

  • welcome!
