  • Hi Gordon... Great to hear from you. Steve Bailey here! You probably know me as one of the two brothers (Steve & Martin) who generally visit Puerto in December each year. Our parents (Lew & Shirley) generally vist a month or so before us. If you need to know more, ask Ray & Audrey! We have become acquainted with many people (locals and visitors alike) and places over the years. The golden days of The Westward were right at the begining of our trips to Puerto. Total magic!

  • Yes its Gordon .Who are you . Nice to know someone remembers THE GOOD OLD DAYS.

  • Yes maurice and Alan provided hours of great entertainment in the westward and we all spent many happy hours .sadly maurice is no longer with us and alan lost both his legs and his now in an home in Northamptonshire ,I used to work there every monday night and have some great memories of those times , Dame Emma Royds 77 and still trading the boards

  • Thanks for your comments.... Is it Gordon? When the Westward became the Majestic it was all very nice but it just didn't seem to have the same character some how!

  • Gracie is always done best with an audience! Thank you for sharing, and I hope that if more performances should turn up that you will post them as well.

  • Certainly one of the more odder interpretations of a Gracie Fields song I've seen...I love the Co-op bag though, very clever!

  • Yes, Maurice & Alan who owned the bar regularly performed some great comedy mime for their customers. The footage was thought to be lost but recently re-surfaced via a friend. Stay tuned..... I will post more!
