If your dog has to be put down, you have to be with him/her in his/her last moments; you owe him/her that. That's what your dog expects from you, that you be by his/her side and help him/her out of the pain and the agony.

If you don't go there, hold your dog to his/her last breath and kiss him/her goodbye after all that love, loyalty and devotion he/she gave to you, YOU DON'T HAVE A HEART.

Even with the medication dulling his senses a bit once he came round he would have been in pain and confused, he'd have got kisses and held yes, but he'd have felt their sorrow and been even more upset and scared, and then to have his life ended.. Tia made the right choice for The Rock.

i recently had to put my dog to sleep she had a tumor as well. I cried about two day so i know what she was going through

I recently found out my dog has lymphoma, hes doing good right now, but i never know which vet visit will be the one where i find out im going to lose him for good. So i always make sure i treat him extra special and give him as much attention as possible so i never regret if something were to ever happen. Im thankful for everything villalobos does and im so sorry they have to deal with so much loss.

This is so sad. I think the saddest part is the fact she didnt get to say good bye. Like, Tania didnt expect for him to have a tumor or of had to have been put down that fast. It makes you regret and rethink alot of shit. It shows you, you have to live in the moment, and in some instances, you may have to expect the worst so you wont regret not being able to say goodbye to your own pets/family.

The answer is Yes. It is the best life. Even at it's saddest, the life of rescue workers, be it for humans or animals, is more rewarding then anything in the world. Why didn't someone notify her that they were going to 'open him up' (the way that it was explained seemed pretty callous to me)? This doesn't happen in an hour...and she appeared to be concerned and waiting. How far was the clinic? I just don't get this. Is this supposed to empower them? Help them take responsibility in their lives? How can you ask that and then put her dog down without her being there?
