Actually, if you dsaw one of my videos, there was a coal drag with 3 mid helpers. so yes mid helpers sould be on some up coal trains.

BNSF doesn't assign Mid-train cause they don't ahve enough power to do that, they apply the bare min. to ther coal trains.

Uniopn Pacific does, usually only on the CEYEW, which has old Steel 100 ton Hoppers.

Usually two a day the Local Denver to Pueblo and back run and about one coal train a week

Not Much! There is a Nightly Manifest from Denver to Pueblo, and another That goes the other way. But other than that, its one or two Coals a day.

So about 8% of the Joint Lines Traffic!.
