Napalmtube was more correct at the time than I thought. Some of the positions he took up were kind of silly but dumping anarchism and hardcore atheism was a great idea. I wish him the best.
@IndividualAutonomy It seems utilitarianism won out. as you said some of his reasons were pretty dumb, objectivity for one, catholicism for the lose, but i guess the rewards for believing those things were greater than the advocacy of anarchy, and constantly smearing theists & insulting moderates just because youtube says its cool and makes you a rebel.
I don't understand how one can choose what to believe. If he saw that religion was obviously false, how can he choose to believe otherwise? What in the fuck.
1. I am a deist. 2. My deconversion from Christianity was only finalized with an extensive analysis of the Roman Catholic and Russian Orthodox. It was not easy for me to make the conclusion that Christianity was false, so I looked to every church.
3. My initial disillusionment with my protestant church was not treated with atheism or concluding that Christianity was false at the outset, but a private attempt to see whether the Roman Catholic or Russian Orthodox church was the correct one.
Partially. Obviously he has to come to his own conclusions to some degree but once you believe there is this "objective standard of morality", its not far from manifesting a state. I think his "christianity" would be better described as a prescription for his depression than the actual and "universal truth", but of course admitting that to himself defeats the point of believing. Fakesagan & tooltime have dismembered PC's TIRED arguments before, I don't know what else it would take. Sanity loses.
Like he said, he never understood the ramifications of what he believed. Atheism may be unlivable, no one can consistently LIVE like an atheist, and I have come to terms with that, but where does it follow that theism is true?
I don't know if he was or is a moralist. If he truly believed morality was innate he would not be saying the things hes saying or be a catholic. I could be wrong. If I had to put my finger on it, I think paleocrat has convinced him otherwise (look at his playlists). I'm considering making a video just on that. No where does a lack of a belief in god imply that rape is the same as walking down the street, that sounds like vomit right out of paleocrats dishonest gums.
I don't care what he believes but I'm sad that I can't watch his videos. They were funny as hell

Atheism just wasn't what he was looking for at the end of the day. Hope he finds what hes looking for.

I don't deserve your forgiveness. But I do apologize for what I've said and done. If it falls on deafened ears, I apologize again.

Funny thing, I just left evangelical Christianity after 10 years. We're just the opposite!

That's no surprise. Protestantism and its inherent relativism is the slippery slope onto atheism.

I hadn't head of paleocrat before this vid. I visited his channel and was not pleased at the pages of apologist crap.
Do you suppose his newly found statism is paleocrat's doing as well?
