This applies for everything else that man makes.

@gideony16 Contrary to your misconception, let me clarify my message. Without a man's soul there is no music. You are correct on that one. I was saying that music we listen today is becoming very systematic.To stronger degree of disappearance of humane/soul, when machines start to use our instrument, where are our souls? When musicians listen to music, we don't just hear aesthetic of the sound, we hear the player's passion and inner emotion that flows secretly through the frequency of the sound.

Strangely there is a very similar instrument to this in existance. I don't know if this is based off it or what, but some university professor made a computer controlled one and it was freaky!

The only thing that confuses me is the instrument that is making the shamisen sound looks a million miles from anything that would actually produce such a sound. It doesn't even have a skin.

well, really liked this vid! i love instruments (but that doesnt mean they love me... *sigh), and i think that an instrument like this would be awesome! it looks complicated, so its a good thing it plays itself! im kinda bad at instruments (im more of a choir person), and i was kinda thinking that this would teach me (one instrument at a time, of course)! ^_^

as i said, i liked this vid! GO INSTRUMENTS! lol :P
