  • Simply Gorgeous! Thanks so much for posting!

  • I find it odd though Duning probably deliberately composed his four-note main phrase to fit the title, "That Touch of Mink," and, considering Day was in the film, why wasn't there a title song? I could almost compose a lyric, albeit not a memorable one, in about ten minutes, based on the theme and title starter: "That touch of mink / It's very soft / The thought of one / Sends me aloft. . . ." Terrible, I know. My fav. Duning score is BELL, BOOK AND CANDLE.

  • @Richard40171 my fav too is bell book and candle.. i can't find it though.

  • @dienoss Go to screenarchives. They've got it for 19.95, with Arabian Nights on the same CD. Great score, in both senses: music and underscore, though you have to see the movie to prove the 2d point. One main theme is used in 2 different ways, with some good source music too. Now they have PICNIC on that site too. As for Bell, Book, and Candle, it's remarkable that Kim & Jim could make 2 films THE SAME YEAR entirely different; one sheer froth, the other sheer terror (VERTIGO).

  • @Richard40171 Sorry, youtube doesn't accept formal addresses, but you know what to do. Type the 3 W's then a dot then screenarchives then another dot then com :)
