@Maulon69 Not high in the mountains, no, but close: I saw them on the coast of Peru many years ago. I can still see them in my mind, soaring effortlessly and gracefully over my head, gazing me in the eye.
the condor pasa is played in the "Inti Raymi " ceremony, in the Peruvians Andes, Yma sumac (peruvian) sang this a long time ago in every world. this song doesnt have lirycs, in the 60's "Daniel Alomía Robles" (peruvian again) compose the lirycs and include in the "zarzuela homónima" after a long time Simon and Garfunkel play this song and turn very much popular.
I have a propose. Please if you can and want make a video in wich you present the notes of the recorder used for this song and youre style of singing, so that other people can sing that extraordinary song. I search on youtube and you are the only man who show the notes. I hope that you will read this.
The other kind of flute, that we tend to call “pìffero”, is the “tinkling flute”.
Te envidio haber visto esos pájaros, guapo! Dónde pasó que los viste? En los Andes?
