I like the stick but every time I look at warrior sticks they all seem to have lies of 4. the bauer I use now is a 5 lie. would the 4 be that much flatter? My tape wears a little towards the heal so I could probably use a 4. What do you guys think?
@scottlally19 It is on the list of things to do. In the mean time, all the info that would be in the video can be found on our product description page for that item.
@19Stifler96 -Those 3 sticks are very comparable. If you haven't tried one of the 3 brands you mentioned, try it so you can compare it with the brand you've already had experience with. If I were to get one of those sticks for myself- X40.
I am a forward, I rarely take a slap shot but I take a ton of wrist shots and snap shots. I love a light weight stick, but need it to be balanced, yet still be durable so that I am not constantly buying new sticks. I am use to easton sticks and am also looking at the Easton SE16 or S17 (S17 is a lil out of my price range atm). I love the Sakic curve and was wondering what Warrior curve is close to that. All my friends want me to try a warrior stick, but maybe I should stick with Easton?
@TheHockeyman118 Personal preference. The One80 has a mid flex point, better for slap shots one timers. Swizzle is a low kick better for wrist and snap shots.
This stick has frustrated me. I had a two piece version and the blade was wobbly. Tried more glue and it still wobbled. Sent both pieces back to warrior hockey as instructed, they gave me a shaft back and no blade, called for them to send me a blade, got that and it still wobbles.
I have a hard time ordering sticks cuz i live in Portugal and they got no ice or stores!... so inline it is!!! I really have no idea what flex i should i use when order or grip vs. non-grip seeing as how i cant try them out..... i watched this review and ordered one for myself... i not that strong so im hoping i can bend this one a bit better than the last "pole" i ordered! Hopping for more power! thanks for the review :)
Check out our "how to select a hockey stick" "how to select the right stick length and flex" and "How to select the right stick and blade lie" those might help as well.
I just ordered this stick - 85 Savard. I've heard they are pretty well balanced and durable. I think the graphics are pretty cool too. It's odd that Warrior lists the weight at 510 g and Ice Warehouse says 533 g. Hmmm....
u can get diff curves... not all of them are "bannanas" the federov is very small and like forseberg/zetterberg or malkin. also they use their new "angel hair tech." in the blades and they have much better blades on their newer sticks that dont just have medium density foam in the blades.
Should I get a Warrior Swizzle? or an Easton EQ40? I'm having trouble picking which stick I should get.
Advxnt 12 hours ago
@Advxnt Go with the EQ40.

Does the blade break like the Warrior Dolomite?
HockeyFro97 3 weeks ago
@HockeyFro97 I would say it's a little stronger. They use a little more fiberglass in the blade on this one to increase the durability.

@besthockey100 The Swizzle is a higher level stick. The grip shouldn't mess up the palms of any gloves.

it seems like it might be an upgrade of the johnson or something alike.... as the johnson was one of their better medium end sticks

I have both. It is basicly an upgrade from the johnson. This one even has a checkered pattern on the blade. XD
