the family has no case, sorry. it wasnt used in the manner the company prescribed, which is common but the company clearly list its uses for this reason.

my son needed his risperdal. He is also predispositioned for scizophrenia. a tragic crime happened and my son got 90 years, the adults who violated my sons disability rights, hid, the school, the psychiatrist, my sons father, the stepmom who divorced him, and then the misuse of power in the court. These professional adults are culpable parties, not my child. The legal persons rewrote the crime, knowing there was enough to show my son wasn't the shooter, but the goal was to hide all violations

My daughter died from the side effects from Risperdal and Zoloft. Janssen and Janssen that makes Rsiperdal is killing our kids.

I never had any problems when taking this drug except I was kina sleepy and gained weight. I really didn't notice much.

My son takes the drug risperdal, the only side effect that he experienced so far is abdominal pain. I gave him a soda and his stomache was so distended I thought that he was going to blow up. We have completely taken him off from soda . As far as the mood swings and anger he is doing good. In school and is an A student. At this moment I have no other complaints.

I am not saying to ban pychiatric drugs some children can't function without them my son being one of them.But my son had to have surgery caused by the Risperdal and thats not right and who is stuck with a big hospital big ME and he suffers in pain from it.What my son got from this drug was not listed as a side effect until months later But these companies should have to pay up when they cause something major to these children its not like they don't have enough problems to deal with.

Sir you fail for placing your son on this drug.

I am a teenager who took it when I was seven, I only took it for a short amount of time but know I have boobs and I'm not to happy about it.

You should tell your son that you are sorry for making him take a drug that makes him go the pain of surgery.

Not all children are as lucky as your and doesn't suffer from no side effects. That company needs to be sued putting these children at risk like that !!! I'm glad it helped your child but everyone is different.And the public needs to know the side effects from this drug !!!!

I used to take the drug but now I take now medication at all, Besides Advil when I'm sick.

Scarey.. my 10 year old son is on Risperdal.. but it does help him alot.. he is using it as a mood stabilizer as part of his BiPolar disorder.. His once intensively aggressive behavior is now gone and he is more loving and carefree but I worry about long term effects.. Have a niece who has Autism who is also on this.. has been for years, with no side effects.. the rare cases are always forefront and broadcast.. what about those who benefit from it? Can we hear some good news instead????

Its not long term.

I was only on it for a shot amount of time.

But I have man boobs now and I'm under weight.
