it is not necesary to be in the creative assembly folder guys wake the fuck up you can name the folder .. -_- also if u cant find the directory just right click and properties to your shortcut and click find folder

Update, for steam buyers of the game with windows 7

Go to program files(x86)

steam

steamapps

common

rometotalwar gold

data

then the file which i think is descr_sm_Factions

The Creative assembly folder ma have something to do with windows 7 or/and the steam version of the game

check your roaming folder, i did but only empire, Napoleon and shogun 2 are in mine, i have no idea where M2TW and RTW have disappeared too

for the roaming folder type in search %appdata%

plus you can always search for the file name

I have 1.0 and my descr_sm_Factions doesnt look anything like that and it isnt written custom battle availability so I cant change it, do you know a way of unlocking it with 1.0?
