I bought this to play splinter cell, and I wish that Ubisoft would realize that just because gamers are becoming less intelligent doesn't mean that they should dumb down their games. Splinter Cell and Hitman are now more TPS than they are stealth games. I guess what I'm trying to say is I wish they would go back to the basics...

Pushing the analog stick as softly as possible got old to me :V.

@watcher974 Your CPU is not the only thing that determines whether you can play a game, you also need to have a graphics card that can run the game and enough RAM.

In other words, Yes or CPU is just good enough, but if you don't have dedicated graphics and/or a tiny amount of RAM you won't be able to play the game...

@PaintballSadist True that but I never understood why the HDD or SSD is always overlooked...the RPM of an HDD determines the rate at which the instruction data(s) can be transfered into the RAM to be processed further by the CPU, GPU etc. into output data. I actually know of people with high-end components but an HDD of 7200 and even 5400. Every single component of the computer matters when you want a high-end gaming computer ;)

@wavestrikerr Yes the HDD and SSD do make a difference in loading times but that is only for the initial startup or loading time of the game, after that the computer and its components pre-loads what it thinks is going to be the next accessed information into caches which is faster than RAM, but much smaller. But this has virtually no effect on whether your computer can handle and process the 3D graphics of a game, so thats why noone really bothers talking about HDDs an SSDs for min requirements

It's an OK game but to me it has no replay value once you beat deniable ops and everything else on realistic. Nobody even plays multiplayer anymore. I been a super hardcore splinter cell fan for a long time and was excited for this one but it kinda disappointed me. I feel that they made this one to please the younger audience since kids don't have as much patience and strategy as older people.

I bought the game release day aswell and I also have all of the other splinter cell games. I was going to sell it but then I decided just to keep it so I can have the whole series. Splinter cell is not supposed to be a third-person shooter (go to GOW or GTA if you want one)...it is in the genre of third-person tactical.

The game is a waste, both time and money. Tasks are simple, you have no choice of your own to make, levels are also tedious, all you do in this game is beat the shit out of people while interrogating them and sneak. That's all. You don't hack computers and stuff, this game was made for money, it was rushed and very simplified.

@HyperVegitoDBZ I agree partially. In Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (my favorite), there was always a way to beat the game by sneaking past everybody and not getting detected. In this game, its more assault based and alot less sneak. Most situations end up with 10 guards in 1 area making it nearly impossible to sneak by them all. I still liked the game and play the multiplayer occasionally but i miss the pure stealth of chaos theory. I also miss the secondary fire on the sc pistol.

I bought this game on steam for my mac, but I can't get it to load on steam. I have to access the game instead directly in my steam folder.

This is the first time I've had any Ubisoft game on my computer. I was pissed that I had to be internet connected to run the game, which is bullshit. I bought it on steam, but I'm torrenting this shit so I can emulate the Ubisoft server while I'm traveling on vacation.

Anyone else think Ubisoft should see how Valve does offline mode?
