The body gives signals when you drank enough water-- if the urine is yellow of almost any shade or you're not going to the bathroom 8 times a day at least, you can drink more to get hydrated and functioning better. It helps water retention from excess salt, and regulates flow through the colon.
When that's vodka, then bother making a video. I slammed that much water and more, usually a half a gallon plus, when I have to piss in a cup at 1:45PM every Wednesday for a year.
you know that drinking lots of water really fast can kill you right? the water flushes into your cells because they need to balance out concentrations with the interstitial tissue and they just burst all at once. apparently it's one of the most painful ways to die- but who alive can really know?
it's not 'toxic.' toxins are chemicals that the body rejects and attempts to remove. water is what the body is mostly made of. this would be like saying water is the same thing as alcohol for the body.
the reason too much water can cause death is equilibrium imbalance and the resultant osmosis (entering of water into the cells). the cells bulge up dangerously... like a balloon with too much air in it, and explode.
NO NO NO NO! Water is NOT a toxin- Why do you think water is used to flush out toxins- hmmmmmmm? Just because it dilutes other substances- doesn't make it a toxin- how did you come to that conclusion anyway??? Water is most definitely NOT a toxin- please don't tell anyone else this misinformation.
You really don't get it! Toxic means poisonous. Oxygen is not poisonous, WATER is NOT naturally poisonous. It can only become poisonous if contaminated by other chemicals/poisons. Water is 100% not a toxin- sorry!
I am not trying to make you look stupid at all- sorry if it seems that way. I understand that water can cause intoxication by disturbing the natural balance of electrolytes in the body. I got what you are trying to say and you are almost right. You were wrong to call water a toxin. It simply isn't a toxin!
Yeah..that's a good way to either make Yourself sick or get water intoxication. Take time in consuming large amounts of water. Maybe like a gallon of water over the course of 3-4 hrs or so....not what You just did.

yeah but it can dilute the blood too much therefore being a toxin

he's also had alcohol, which is a diuretic and gets rid of water from the body. no real risk .

i said it could be a toxin in large quantites but didnt say it was a poison. you seem like a bright person so we will agree to disagree
bobbykoedkotto 2 years ago
ok we will agree to disagree but a toxin is a poisonous substance! BUT... I know what you mean and you know what I mean so all is well :-)
