I worked on this video, everybody had a blast. At the end of one take Jimmy said "You frogs were cookin" Kermit replied "That's better than cooking frogs!"

I don't think that it was originally Jimmy Buffett. Jimmy had a lot more hair in the 80's. I think that this is a more recent remake. Does anyone know for sure when the original air date was of this specific video?

The release date of the Elmopaloosa video was 1998, the recording probably happened 1-2 years prior. This video is not 20 years old. The original recording was Kermit, by himself. No Jimmy. This was when Jimmy finally started to receive corporate recognition.

I used to sing this song when I was two years old... now I'm 23 and it still pops into my head at random. And it may have been an early attempt but your computer animation holds up just fine against modern web-toon animation, and looks more unique to boot.
