@SolOfDuty Mortal Kombat isn't the only one with nacho ass bosses. SNK has it the worst. They pump out cheap bosses so hard, the term "SNK Boss Syndrome" was coined.
How about making mortal kombat controversial again for having quick, *realistic*, less cartoony violence using actual people as models like mk 1,2 and 3. Fatalities should not be over the top, should last 5 seconds max and should be from the same camera angle from which you are fighting.
How about an online mode that doesn't feel like you're wading in treacle and a community where 98% of the scrubs who play the game quit when they lose, crying about spam?
There is no way to deny the fact that having Kratos for the PS3, but nothing for the X360 owners was a real letdown. But it does nothing against the game, one of the better fighting games ever made! And, by the way, PS3 owner are going to get Cole from InFamous in Street Fighter X Tekken, for the 360 owners: nothing. Why MS lack so many good first party games? If you are not into FPS or TPS, you are cut.
They're not even denying they're coming back, but the ending of the story mode dropped the ball regardless. It pissed me off and I think people who complain about that to NRS are REALLY justified.

@GCube45 Cyber Sub-Zero has grown on me and I seem to be able to work with him a little better than human Sub-Zero. I have heard it was to shock fans but it seems to have pissed them off more than anything.

Sub-Zero had quite frankly a great personal character arc which started when he defected when the Lin Kuei.. later he fought Sektor for control of the Lin Kuei and he proved the Lin Kuei's cyber initiative wrong when he defeated Sektor. He stayed human and he beat a cyborg. But now that's all gone... they forgot what made Sub-Zero such a great character

I hope they have a better story for the next one, that's all I can say.

@GCube45 My sister and I both agree with that. Raiden even had enough time in the beginning/end of Armageddon to say that Shao Kahn must win. Being able to save Smoke, but not being able to save Sub-Zero is stupid. He could have done it, even if he was attacked for that. Only taking Liu Kang with him to see the elder gods made no sense, especially as Kang was not even 'the chosen one'. Shooting lightning at Kang to stop his attack. 9 did not put Raiden in a positive light.

@GCube45 Incredibly bizarre. Raiden is meant to be a protector and yet they make him too dumb to do anything right. Yeah he ultimately does protect Earthrealm but that doesn't make everything hunky dory.

@shadowagent I think so. Seth from SSIV was as tricky as hell, but only through highly tuned AI and the lack of move fluffing. Once you knew what you're doing though, he can be beaten with a a few well performed combos, just like anybody else.
Not so for the MK bosses though. Those guys(unlike anyone else) can arbitrarily decide to shrug off attacks, break your combo and loop you in an infinite without penalty. This takes skill out of the equation; a dumb move for a fighting game.
