  • I was born in Inez myself, and while it's a very difficult place to live happily, it makes a you a stronger person. I couldn't wait for the day I got out, but now I've been away almost ten years, and I miss it.

  • i live in kantucky and well some people might have bad lifes but its a safe place

  • a/n: these were the only houses i could find for inez

  • I grew up near Inez. I was upset by "Children of Appalachia" as well, but I don't really think showing 'nice' houses is really a way to discredit what the media portrayed. There are both rich and poor in the area. To me, I'd rather show how the average person from Martin County doesn't necessarily fit the stereotypes that continues to be portrayed. When people learn where I'm from, I find myself almost having to prove who I am as a person rather than who the media says I should be.

  • Who owns that house?? Is it Jim Booth's??? Cause I am from Inez and it's not a dump but not all houses look like that one. Most people live in trailers, which is ok, but Inez shouldnt be defined by the pic of the nice house u have posted.
