I LOVE MY STI. I dont think the challenger sucks, i just think its not my style. I LOVE MY R6, but i think some harleys are pretty cool. Everybody has a different style, you make it your own, drive what you want. Altough i do have to say the challenger got owned. lol

The proof is in the video....2.5 litre turbo kicked the V 8's ass. You can make all the excuses you want but you can never lose gracefully. STI's arent even designed for the 1/4 mile and it still won, ....awesome.

Didnt you see the video? How was the American car better? A large engine is just a method of burning more air/ fuel mixture.........so is a smaller engine with a turbo...........and if forced induction is so bad, why do most of the newer muscle cars have superchargers?

A couple of points: that ain't a stock wrx - a stock wrx sti will do a 13.5 sec qtr, for a grand total of <$35k a Challenger R/T w/ custom turbo will have over 500 HP - easily enough to take it to the mid 12's and onto victory over the wrx.

And besides, it is way, way cooler looking than that Pacer look-alike wrx.

The wrx STI is a monster. I've beaten fully built mustang cobras with well over 500 hp in my STI. I am still buying the SRT-8 challenger. Its a sexy American muscle car, enough said. The one in the video sounded very stock.

The Challenger is a considered a disappointment to the SRT community as well as to those who pre-ordered them (some dealerships in my area actually bought a few back from customers). 3.08 rear gears connected to an automatic is a recipe for failure. Buy the manual version when it is available (should have 3.73 gears), it will be running much better times. And by the way, the Challenger in the video has a Zoomers catback (its quieter), with a Mopar intake. BTW, a 500hp Cobra isn't fully built :)
