I've got an '86, but my paddles are pretty worn out, i may be getting some new ones, any ideas on what to get? Someone said something like 20-11-9 8 Paddle haulers or something, and I don't want to blow my engine, because of the torque required for 10 paddles.

yeah those paddles sound about right... i have a set of 10 paddle taller haulers but i would just just pop my front end up because i couldnt spin them fast enough

Nice "R" ya got there looks fast throws them Rooster tails nice and high, show's lots of power especially when you raced! Smoked every body! Excellent job on the build too. Long time since I was at Pismo looks beautiful. I ride a tricked out 85250R Tripod and a 06 Honda 450R TRX with an HR kit love em both! Ride mostly Glamis now day's but have ridden Pismo, Dumont and Oregon Dune's they are all fantastic dunes.

U know what the pipes now adays are almost the same. I have a trx 250r with paul turners pipe. I love it it pulls every gear good, and hard. It comes down to just names. There are only three companys out there that have the best pipes for the r. They are ct esr and paul turner. What ever one u chose of the three is ur best choice.

ESR (Eddie Sanders Racing) has very good pipes that are a lot better than FMF. it just depends on where you want your power, the pipe on the white 250r is a TRX-5 which is good for all around and the fatty pipe on the red 250r (TRX-11) is top end... i would go with ESR
