hey, on flstudio if you just plug your mic straight into the back of your pc in a stock soundcard then fl studio sounds like crap in recording a voice, making it all staticy. do you have to use a usb audio interface mic preamp for a good voic eon there like you got? or how did you do it and wut did you use? if you could help me, it would be highly apreciated.
If you plug it straight to your usb jack on your pc. you have to go to your audio menu on FL Studio. I think its F9 or F10 to bring up the menu. Click audio with the pic of the speakers. U should see something that says show asio. Adjust the buffering on the mic you are using for it won't freeze or static when you record. Also you can always just download the usb defaults settings from your microphones company online. It should be free to download. I use M audio.
Auto tune doesn't make bad singers sound good....just to let you all know. To me, as a musician, auto-tune is just another way to express your artistry. If you can REALLY sing, then auto-tune really sounds good. If you can't...then you still sound like crap...even with auto-tune!

it doesnt adjust your voice to hit the RIGHT notes (cos its a computer and doesnt know if you wanna sing a G# or a G). it just pulls the pitch to the nearest note, so you still need to have some basic singing talent to make it work.
that said, pretty much anyone who puts in enough effort can have basic singing skills.
@Al25401 This is where you're wrong. You can adjust the notes to what you want it to be at. Check out auto-tuning the news and you'll notice where they change the notes all the time from the news casts as well. :).
@jdspringr07 hes not totally wrong, thats how autotune works. the way they do it in those videos is hook up a midi keyboard so they can target the notes themselves. if you just leave autotune in "auto" mode you can only pick the scale and sing as near to those notes as you can. it works both ways.

yoo i also use cubase nd autotune evo. If you hear very closely, you can hear that there's more than auto tune only.. Add flanger, delay, chorus and a compressor some reverb and you'll get a beter result ;)

Melodyne is like autotune, though you can change the pitch manually which you can't do with autotune, hence the name "Auto-tune" :)

it takes no talent to use autotune? you must not have ever used it then.. you still have to be able to sing majority of the notes and you can only be off by a tad otherwise it will throw your voice around.. and even the best of singers have used this effect before.. actually every studio recording has auto tune in it, just at realistic levels.. learn your shit before you try and hate on something you have no clue about.

its because you are bad at singing, a good voice mixed with autotune is really go as shown above, but shitty singers like myself cant make it sound the same, why? because you still need to be able to sing in order for it to sound good, autotune doesn't really fix everything

Exactly, the more your notes/pitch is off, the more it has to correct your voice and thus it sounds more jumpy as the pitch goes up and down.

yoo i also use cubase nd autotune evo. If you hear very closely, you can hear that there's more than auto tune only.. Add flanger, delay, chorus and a compressor some reverb and you'll get a beter result ;)

I heard this on 07 and even to this point in 09 its a possible hit, I dn't get why this hasnt been remastered and dropped, It could even be used as a trance mix somehow..the intro is crazy but if the beat was beefed up and the vocals were tweaked GREAT TRACK, I WOULD BUY THIS TRACK IF IT ALREADY HASn'T BEEN SOLD..AWWREADY!
