Personally I see it as: the man gave value to the blind person. Then the blind person gave value to other people who maybe were a little bit down, by opening their eyes to the beatifull things. That effect had the words on me, I was a little bit down but I was reminded by the beaty around me..

then these people gave value back to the blind man, and then the blind man gave value back to the man by being happy.

Complete opposite of scarcity mentality some people have..

I think when I have the money I would like to help someone on a deeper level, and give them an oppurtunity to make money on their own. Really great! The things we take for granted. I sat with my nearly blind father-in-law today at a birthday party for octegenarians (SP). Saw him cry when he heard his favorite song being played by the musician. This just added to that moment. Remember the beautiful days in your life, because they fade way too fast!
