Flash was known for beat juggling so to speak where he would cut the records back and forth and this is what GWT admired about him and he started practicing what he saw flash doing and it was while he was doing that the birth of the scratch came to life and from there history was made. If you watch the video again you'll grasp it as he even said no other dj's were advanced as the two of them were back in the day.

@dadjmixesit the point of my confusion was that Flash was known for his elaboration on Theodores discovery so if GWT was just coming up then what exactly was so special about Flashes act at that point in time that Theo would revere him enough to be his crateboy? if he had spinbacks already then surely he must already have 'the scratch' as its rhythm is already present in the cueing, but maybe not, thanks for talking to me all the way down here anyways, we don't get much light down here

@dbbification i went to see Afrika bambaataa a few months ago , i was so blessed to be able to be in the same room as him, BUT he was mixing with cd's n lap tops n all sorts of computer related stuff..... i wanted him to be on the 1z n 2z...... i guess times have changed.... makes me SAD!
