  • elvis was friends with john wayne.could you imagine elvis in the glen camble role in true grit and elvis singing the theme song

  • Elvis era el mas apuesto y sexy cantante. Este mundo esta lleno de tipos envidiosos.

  • Elvis was the singer more good looking and sexy. This world is full of men jealous.

  • Très beau western du king

  • Giozombie..if you don't like Elvis what are you doing on this site......??? cause you certainly aren't funny....

  • awh! did somebodie get hur t by another persons opinion...

get over it dose my opinion or comment affect your life? NO!

if Elvis was still alive you know what he would say..."well if that particular person dosent like my acting, or music than so be it"...

so grow a pair you pussy!

  • dude mr.elviisaplover5 (kinda queer name if you ask me) that reply made no sense what so ever man who said im gonna be an actor? i sure didnt..

    FAIL!!!!

  • 2009 edition of the Merriam-Webster's Spanish to English & English to Spanish Dictionary defines " Charro ", noun, as a Mexican Cowboy and a "Charra", noun, as a Mexican Cowgirl

  • Great song,what a man,what a voice.TCB.

  • this movie showed what a great actor elvis really was he didnt need to sing all the time

  • his first film was a western, love mr tender.

  • The movie Charro was made in Apacheland in the film studio that burned down some yrs ago its in Arizona

  • Flaming Star

  • @myself2009123 flaming star was great elvis movie it showed what elvis could do with good role and script.if they let him do more dramatic roles like flaming star, charro and change of habit he would have been one of the greatest actors.damn colonel parker

  • SEXIST COWBOY I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!

  • Both a good song and classic Elvis movie it sucks that this movie is not always feauture or given good reviews...the col screwed Elvis to where all the great films Elvis wanted was not done therefore when Elvis did this film it was so different from his other films that people didnt accept it. Had Elvis done this kind of film in 1960 and kept going his fans would apperciate this film more so than they do now.

  • i agree.he was offerd so many great roles like midnight cowboy and a star is born any many more great roles but the colonel kept turning them down for musicals.this was a good movie.

  • Anyone explain to me what a "Charro" meens? Im from Sweden and cant find that word in the english dictonary...

  • In Mexico, charro is a term referring to a traditional horseman or cowboy of Mexico, originating in the State of Jalisco. In the rest of Mexico the equivalent term was "vaquero".

  • man this guy can sing...one of my favorite...his look in this movie was awesome, a welcome change...he couldve been an awesome actor if only he could break away from col. parker....this man had so much untapped potential....he's the best

  • Hey! What is a Charro? Dont know that word since Im from Sweden.

    All the best.

  • Charro is spanish for cowboy. But, is really a mexican word for a badass cowboy, brave, the best for rodeo and whit the ladies.

  • Oh. Thanks alot! All the best.

  • so underrated

  • I love this song, I have the movie to Im an Elvis Tribute Artist from Wisconsin im 16 1/2 lolz i actually grew out a beard like his for a while. classic song

  • elvis looks awesome with a beard. men are meant to have a little hair on their face. that's why i sport a full beard :)

  • This has been the most under rated movie that Elvis ever did! And that wasn't fair to Elvis and this is my favorite movie out of them all. He got to show his acting ability, not just his singing talent Needless to say what a hunk he was all scruffy looking. I have seen this movie a 100 times over and it will always remain my favorite. And if he would of had the chance to do "A Star Is Born", he could of proved is ability to act even more!!!!

  • yes indeed. extremely under-rated. cuz a good actor makes you forget who is is. meaning, in the movie you are watching it and you forget that he's " elvis " and you see him as " jess wade " instead. such a good movie. all the actors did a great job.

  • Totally agree with you. He gave one of his best performances in this movie. A pity he didn't get to amke A STAR IS BORN as this could've been the movie that would've won him an award! He wanted to do this movie but as always C . Parker had his own way!!!

  • Charro is the only movie Elvis did not sing in and it was the only movie that Elvis wanted to do.

  • elvis is the best he is sooo talented n good lookin n everifin i love him sooo much!

  • This is Such a Proper Movie Song{for any movie} and the Opening over the Credits Clearly shows this.

Why isnt this song played more often? this as with many more of Elvis Obscure Recordings are Instant Classics and sound Just as fresh as they did on the day they were Recorded.

  • He was gorgeous whatever he did, but he was really HOT with that beard and mustache!! WOW!!!

  • one if his best films I love his music elvis is the king and will always be the king !!

  • A dramatic and somewhat "unusual" Elvis song, bit I always liked it. The role as a cowboy really suited Elvis.

  • Sexy.... as a cowboy

  • Listen to the brandingg Then then....

  • Very Nice, Thanks! for sharing...

  • A very lovely title song and Elvis looked great. He is the best.

  • Has a brilliant supporting performance by Victor French. Steals the picture from Elvis.

  • The lady in the film is Ina Balin who around the same time flew to Vietnam to rescue hundreds of children, she is very famous for it, good actress too.

  • CHARRO is besides FLAMING STAR the BEST MOVIE ELVIS EVER DID ;-) The title song is fantastic.

  • Elvis made 29 movies in 1969 !?

  • and 1977,it was released as Elvis in concert on vhs video,i have this.Correct your statement,it wasnt just 1971 & 1972!!!!!!

  • ELVIS IN CONCERT was NOT a Movie, IT was a TV Special ! I WILL STATE AGAIN , YOU MORON, ELVIS ONLY MADE 33 MOTION PICTURES FROM 1956 THRU 1972. THE LAST MOTION PICTURE

" MOVIE " THAT HE MADE WAS " ELVIS ON TOUR " ,MADE AND RELEASED IN 1972. " ELVIS IN CONCERT " WAS A TV SPECIAL DONE BY CBS, A TELEVISION BROADCAST COMPANY. CBS DID NOT MAKE MOVIES LIKE MGM, PARAMONT STUDIOS, WARNER BROTHERS, 20TH CENTURY FOX, & OTHERS. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE OPENING THY MOUTH AND INSERTING THY FOOT !

  • FYI , I 'm NOT Gay You Moronic Idiot ! And I am not angry about anything ! Just stating correct facts. Elvis was MORE than just a Singer, HE WAS ARTIST OF THE CENTURY, THE KING OF MUSIC, AND he sold more records WorldWide than any othre artist or performer in the History of Recorded Music ! OVER 2 1/2 BILLION !!! AND his relevance was NOT over by the time he went into the Army ! His Comeback in '68 after 10 years of Hollywood Movies put him on Back on top again as the World's 1st SuperStar !

  • Yea, I tend to get a little pissed off when idiots like YOU start badmouthing and dissing on Elvis, THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER EVER !! If YOU want to badmouth and diss on something, GO diss on those stupid moronic Idiot RapCrappers and Their NO MUSIC NOISE and the Stupid way they dress and wave their damn fingers in everyone's face ! Leave Elvis Alone and keep your stupid assinine remarks to yourself , you pathetic jerk !

  • That lady looked like Penelope Cruz. I was glad to see Elvis in something other than fluff with constant singing and girls leaching all over him. I didn't know he made any films other than fluff until today when it was on TV. He would have made a great dramatic actor if he had gotten out of the fluff before he lost his love of acting. The loss of his Mum drained the rest of the life out of him sadly.

  • GOD HES GORGEOUS

  • Totally agree with you. God let me see him in heaven.

  • There is something haunting about this song, I love it!

  • I agree ! best movie he ever did. I heard he insisted on making just one where there was no music in it and so they threw him "charo" as a bone. Too bad the old tom parker wasnt so money hungry or elvis could have been a VERY BIG and RESPECTED MOVIE STAR !

  • The song 'Charro' and Elvis' singing style here reimind me very much of Frankie Lane's treatment of 'High Noon' and 'The Gunfight at O.K. Corral'. The latter, incidentally, is on YouTube, if anyone cares to compare. I can't help but wonder what an Elvis rendition of either of the two earlier tunes would have sounded like.

  • charro- i just love this movie it shows another side of elvis's acting. he makes one handsome cowboy and that beard i love it on him. thanks for sharing this video and these picture. loved it love elvis

  • WONDERFULL!!!!

  • What a Haunting song sung by Elvis. This has to be my 2nd Favorate Movie song of all the films that he made. My Favorate is 'Clean up your own Backyard'. It just goes to show what an incredible Range that this man had. He could sing Gospel, Country Music, well anything really. There will never be another Elvis Presley as no one will ever come close to having this man's talent. We miss you Elvis.

  • great song sung by a maestro the best ever well done.

  • Imagine if they had teamed up Elvis with Clint Eastwood in the spaghetti westerns - perhaps in the roles Lee Van Cleef filled.

  • I like the beard.I love this song.Elvis had the best voice in the history of recorded music. Thanks for posting this.

  • He looks so frickin cool in this movie!

  • The best elvis movie he did.

  • Great video, folks!!!

  • fantastic!!

  • If this movie had been as cool as Elvis looked starring in it, it would be a f...n classic!!

  • Could you do a similar video for "Flaming Star"?

I'm a little surprised to see that no one has done it yet - that I know of.

  • My favorite movie, since I saw it yesterday for the first time.

  • Nice pictures, nice song, nice man!!!

  • OMG, this is my all time favorite movie.

Love that sexy cowboy! Thanks, this was great!

    Casey

  • that was fantastic. this is one of my favorite movies. it shows how underestimated Elvis was as an actor

  • Oh this is my favorite Elvis movie!!! Thank you so much & you did an AWESOME job!!!

    Hugs,

    Cheryl
