this patriarchal Eastern philosophy of claiming the male, Shiva, is 'consciousness' and the female, Shakti is 'energy' who 'needs' the ' superior male principle' is exactly the same as Plato's concept of 'anima mundi' or world soul. It is dualistic, and this metaphor promotes the patriarchy!

Just imagine the sub-atomic particles I dont think the quarks will understand the greatness of the universe. Of course, this is just a comparative expression. What I mean to say is, til now scientists have not understood that the ETHERIC SPACE is just a crude small part of the Cosmic Mind (Shivas Mind); the MICRO structure of an atom is just like our individual mind; and the MACRO structure of the universe is nothing but Shivas Mind... But this doesnt end here, still the Cosmic Mind has the subtle parts. And beyond these subtle parts, there the Cosmic Mind in the Balance State of FORCES of Shakti; and so Shiva is passive the initial stage of the Manifestation of Shiva and Shakti. But still, beyond this Balance State of FORCES, there Shiva and Shakti is in Dormant Position. And in Tantra we call this as NIRGUNA, without manifestation.

And so, I say: This is just beyond comprehension ;-)

Your question is a sign of thirst for limitlessness, good sign. In Tantra, we know that individual consciousness is just a small fraction of the Cosmic Consciousness. Means, your mind is just an extension of Cosmic Mind. That someone else you felt talking is actually your higher-self linked with Shiva (the Cosmic Mind). And if the message was correct, without knowing it before, then it must be intuition. Otherwise, wrong message is just a simple cellular (human cells) message from our glands ;-)

Now Siva and Shakthi are noting but Matter and Energy. When you see things from this point of view you can understand the vastness of these two. To understand some thing you must be other than that, else you cannot understand. This is kust like you cannot diffrentiate drop of water from sea or ocean until you seperate the both. Since you are composed of matter and energy you cannot comprahend them. So is Siva and Shakthi.

@pradeepyamujalanew Earlier almost everything that were written in the hindu texts seemed nonsensical to me.... Now, i strongly believe in the ancient masters concepts.... The universe is not just matter and energy.... Its created by Siva and Shakti.

It is not because we are made of matter and energy that we cannot comprehend them, It is because we are both the 'experiencer' and the experienced, both Prakriti and Purusa, we are miniature representations of the great Duo.

One must remember that this Primordial Subtle Energy is not exactly the energy (which is another transformation of Shakti) that most scientists or phycists trying to explain. But we know that in Tantra E=mc2 is actually another manifestation (transformation) of Shiva and Shakti, i.e. Matter and Energy are One and inseparable.

In Tantra, the universe is just a transformation of Consciousness (Shiva) and Primordial Subtle Energy (Shakti). Shiva and Shakti is beyond mind, and so beyond comprehension. There is no question of "who transformed the consciousness into energy". The only question is "How Consciousness is being transformed into matter by Primordial Subtle Energy?".

sorry,,, i have considered matter as an 'evolved',condensed form of energy ever since i learnt the equation and got some idea about the big bang and quantum physics and maybe thats why the question "who transformed...." came up(consciousness being considered as the source). treating both as one seems to be more logical....So, shakti converts consciousness into matter or 'energy of the physicist'?

Exactly as the physicists discovered that matter is actually a condensed form of energy; and so Shiva is actually Shakti Himself; that is, the power of Consciousness is in Shakti; Shakti can only express through Shiva; and so the Cosmic Dance. You cant separate them, its just impossible. You cannot think of water without its wetness; and so, you cannot think of Shiva without Shakti.

Everything, LITERALLY EVERYTHING, in this universe is just transformed state of Consciousness by the work of Shakti, the Primordial Subtle Energy. This is just another way of explaining the origin of the universe, In Tantra.
