i took the air filter & everything that goes with it off & just left with the diesel form of a carb. anyways getting to my point, as u know i got a 86 6.2, & i was wondering y is there a hose going from the oil blow off to the diesel form of carb & what looks like is blowing oil into my engine. i was wondering if is blowing engin oil into the engine or diesel fuel?
unfortunately, yes it is blowby. I am taking out the engine, and putting in one that is identical, but with new rings. This engine is going to get a full rebuild, with some internal upgrades assuming the bottom end has no cracks.
ya, if i never took the time to paint it, would be wrong with it! But seriously it was running fine with little to no blow by or blue smoke when i had it in another truck. I think the engine just got overheated at some point, which damaged the rings.
How many mikes were on the old seals?
Did it need to be rebuilt?

Does the banks turbo bold up to the stock exhaust and crossover pipe on a 6.5l? I wondering about using half 6.5l pipes and a banks turbo?
