  • The real lyrics are:

"And I can't wait for the BOTTSRGEDDON".

  • well fuck me with a rusty pick axe for being born in the 90s!!! i missed out on alot of good stuff. but at least i have a good taste in music now and im 16. blind melon and soundgarden the shit!!!

  • @iliketoparty82 Being born in the 70's, I used to be bummed out how I missed out on the great acts in the sixties (Hendrix especially!) It all comes 'round again.

  • @cuvtixo yeah man. it will. real rock will never die.

  • I love this song and Chris Cornell pretty damn eyes(;

  • My wife and I got to see them on their last tour in '96 at Neu Eisenburg outside of Frankfurt. Hours later we were on the USO party train to Oktoberfest. Still had two mini kegs of some German dunkel beer. Good times.

  • whats with people still having tapes in the late 90's? shouldn't they be warped by then. which reminds me of when lyrics used to be in the liner notes. till the deftones wrote theirs like they were illiterate on the adrenaline album. sorry, i digress

  • "Eat the fruit and kiss the snake good night"

  • @Killerbee80 Sounds like sex to me.

  • soundgarden e alice in chains melhores bandas de seattle!!

  • Why do they only bring up the Big4 of grunge,...

    AliceinChains,Soundgarden,Nirvana,Pearl Jam

Did nobody hear Mudhoney or Tad? Those band were great too!

  • @druben138 I fucking love Mudhoney and Tad! Also The Melvins

  • @druben138 because no true 90's kid really gives a shit about what everbody else thinks...we're in our 30's now and we still don't give a shit.

  • 1 Person has a ugly nose :o

  • I had Down on the Upside on tape. I remember playing this while driving to school. Damn, it was around '99. The same year two kids went on a rampage at Columbine High. Those days were like angry and fast. Life seemed really something great.

  • @MrGigaBitch yeah 99 was a great year. Columbine was a tragedy but even after that happened we were still in much happier times than we were in the present day with the economy.

  • @Egista07 Definitely.

  • My noose is pretty, too. I added sparkles and jewels to it.

  • the biblical lyrics of this song are very cryptic...very profound...not going to take one side or the other..but no denying they are biblical, and cryptic...

  • my friend at the time this came out...."pretty noose is pretty gay" was his interpretation of the lyrics...

  • Soundgarden = Win

  • Does anyone know if Kim wrote this riff?

  • dude this guy is so hot

  • Probably the best opening riff of the 90's

  • lol...this song is THE BEST...i love this band...

  • woot!! no dislikes XD this is so epic, i doubt there could be :DDD

  • @ThePekepooLover i was gonna dislike it just cuz u said that, but i couldnt bring myself to dislike a song from my favorite band lol. especially this song

  • i swear if anyone fucks with the like/dislike ratio ill cut their heart out

  • @Theslayerwins dude relax. its soundgarden, not slayer. lmao! \m/

  • @Theslayerwins Yeah like inifinite likes to 0 dislikes on this song, and infinite dislikes on justin bieber to 0 likes on justin bieber songs =)

  • soundgarden fuckin rock !!!

  • Nowadays kids have no fucking idea about 90's grunge good music

  • Just heard this on the radio for the first time last night. Fucking awesome song.

  • Sounds like the riff from "Pledge Your Allegence" by ST?

All due respect to Suicidal but these guys are just on another level.

  • DAMN MY SPEAKERS FOR NOT GOING ANY LOUDER!!! FUCKKKKK!

  • This is my first comment on youtube, and I just want to say how annoying it is when people equate great songs to fucking video games. If I see one more person commenting on a great song by making some kind of retarded connection to guitar hero like "man I remember when this song came out on guitar hero II." I am going to rip my hair out.

  • Best Soundgarden song.

  • soundgarden rocks me and true rockers

  • Why is SUPER ANGRY DUDE even checking out the Kelly Clarkson videos? "QUESTIONABLE AT BEST" - sounds like you like her a little bit more than you want to admit.... Are you shyyyyy? Do you think she's preeeetty?

  • this song features my favorite Soundgarden solo

  • this song rocks me good

  • ANGRY CAPITAL LETTERS!!!!

  • @GoPats37 LOUD NOISES !!!!

  • Grunge needs to make a comeback. Soundgarden rips this shit. This is rock that I love

  • somebody posted a little while back they love how he saiz "get this mother gone".... damn fuckin right, sends shivvers every time!!!!

  • somebody posted a little while back they love how he saiz "get this mother gone".... damn fuckin right, sends shivvers every time!!!!

  • This song's solo is one of the best ever. Just fantastic!

  • Fortunately, most of us that have good taste in music aren't mentally unstable and have the need to spam retarded comments in capital letters...

  • @wildbill6976 or like alot of great musicians we are both mentally unstable and capable of putting together a perfectly good sentence! As well as an awesome taste in music!

  • I love how the marketing departments felt it necessary to lable all the Seatle bands as "grunge". These guys sound nothing like the Melvins, who sound nothing like Pearl Jam, who sound nothing like Alice in Chains, who sound nothing like Nirvana. Just another typical corporate money making bullshit scam to get people to think in one direction instead of just accepting it for what it all is...Music.

  • @cgraber

Whatever you call it, it's all good shit. Thank God, though, you aren't one of those who think Nirvana was the only band of Seattle origin, lol. That does an injustice to the other quality bands that performed around then in the Seattle scene. And, actually, "grunge" was first created as a word by Mark Arm, who performed in Green River and Mudhoney. At least that's what I've heard. Mark Arm used it in a review of some band and then a Sub Pop exec started using it for bands like G.R.

  • the lead guitar in the background on the second verse.... beaut

  • this song give me back the worst feeling that i ever had...

makes me travel back in time and remember my girlfriend and my old house...

the only thing missing is my house :/

  • i love them!! fucking talent!!

  • Let your motor race,

    Pick it up

    And get this mother gone.

  • my favorite song of all times.

  • I haven't heard this song in years, love it

  • kim thayil is so underrated for a muscian its sick as well as cameron.saw neil peart say he was his fav new drummer when badmotor finger came out. first time i heard b.finger i was like this band is going places cause every thing they tounch is midas gold.then i saw them at tampa super unknow tour was even more blown away.peace

  • THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS IN EXSITANCE!!! HANG KELLY CLARKSON FROM A PRETTY NOOSE!!!

  • Why I absolutely loved all 4 grunge bands:

Soundgarden - Plain kick-ass riffs. Cool guitar licks. Killer tone. And that killer voice.

Nirvana - They have a certain soul in their music, and permeating through Kurt's vocals. You feel his sufferings and joys.

Pearl Jam - Early career, soaring anthemics. Late career, style that's really hard to get into but has a lot of depth.

AIC - Highly melodic style of metal and grunge. Oh, also there's Layne Staley.

  • @5oulPower soundgarden would not be a grunge band.. despite record labels they may have been on ... distinguished by the fact there is no use for such terminology when describing any of these bands as such... it was more of a terminology for a clothing line than the character of any sort of brand of music , which is highly disturbing to begin with.

  • @5oulPower You left out Screaming Trees??? For shame...

  • @5oulPower There were way more than 4 bands in that genre. You outline the four best known ones.

  • @gwm666 yes, I intended that.

  • @5oulPower i really like your comment but you do know there's more than just 4 grunge bands right?

  • @junkhead27 yeah.. Only intended to list the 4 greatest ones. :-)

  • @junkhead27 I kinda took it like the Big 4 of Grunge. Similar to the Big 4 of Thrash.

  • @5oulPower im agree whit you my friend just listen just listen

  • @5oulPower you forgot STP and alice in chains :(

  • @aerielsauls LoL AIC is alice in chains. but he did forget STP

  • @UkazutoX No, I think that was a reference to Alice in Chins, which is a grunge rock band from China.

  • @aerielsauls AIC = Alice In Chains. And I only listed the 4 greatest. ;-)

  • gay and bad

  • This was the dawning of a great band... and still it sounded glorious! Take some measures yourselves.

  • AKA SHACKRAT brings back many memories song would stick in my head allday get high tradesman on multimillion dollar jobsites to many to mention

  • LOVE THIS SONG ;)

  • Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • Cool Song, as with all Soundgarden music. Pity Audioslave didn't last as long as Soundgarden. :-(

  • i wish music was still like this

  • this song rocks :)
