@BioHazardzCinema I was blessed with meeting a great group of re-enactors who wanted to help out on my production. I would contact a local re-enacting group in your area if you have a project in mind. I'm sure if you give them all the details they would love to help!
SIck film man, loved it, the props were amazing, one thing i would note was i did get excesively dissy at about 5 minutes from all the "glidecam" wouldnt have minded some nice panning tripod shots or even static shots, but thats all i have to complain about, well done, i am sure you go an "A"
@VanderKwaakFILMS Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the suggestion regarding the "glidecam" shots. I'll take that into consideration on my next project. Thanks again!
@VanderKwaakFILMS Oh yeah, for sure dont let me rub you the wrong way at all. they were really effective for certain shots, and how you did those tracking shots behind the vehicle is amazing, care to enlighten me? crane? jib? driving another vehicle beside it?
@VanderKwaakFILMS Haha the tracking shots behind the vehicles were all accomplished by our amazingly talented Steadicam operator. He ran behind/alongside the trucks in order to get the shots. Thanks again for the comment :)
@RebelWithoutACrew27 Thanks Rob! I really appreciate it! Thanks so much for watching. And yes, looking forward to working together again in the near future!
I like the film, but I couldn't help but notice the modern day cars in the background of some of the shots. or the fact they drove in circles... Not bad though I really liked it! Good Job
@jimster602 Haha thanks for watching Jim. And yes, the modern day cars were hard to cut out in editing, but I did my best. I tried cutting to the emotion of the scene rather than time period specific shots. And with the driving in circles, we only know that cause we've been to the park lol. Hopefully the other viewers don't notice ;) thanks for watching!!!
Awesome short, man! Sometimes the cinematography blew my away! The steadicam shots really make this a cinematic experience! Great job! Keep up the good work!
@murifilmpictures Thank you so much :) and haha I loved that shot. My Steadicam operator for the film, Michael Thackray, came up with that shot. We did it in two takes. Thanks again for watching!
Turned out great!!! Thanks for the last comment haha It is a pleasure to work with you as always! I shall also greatly miss working with your film productions. Keep up the good work! Don't loose your attitude of challenging yourself and how you deal with people nicely during directing!
@Hosu223 Thanks for the comment my man. You're definitely the best Script Supervisor there ever was. Remember, there will always be a job waiting for you if you decide Political Science isn't your thing :)
By far your best work. Great. I do wonder however if you shot in 24p with 180 degree shutter, as sometimes it looks like you didn't. I do recognize that you were not DP so that would not be your fault.
Wow! Very impressive work!
