I'm an african-american and i've always voted democrat, but I can't this time...there's something wrong this guy. In my opinion he's a borderline sociopath. He lies to get votes, and always has excuses for his questionable close relationships. He struts around like the anointed one, and talks of how he's the great change the country needs. He's too slick for my taste. I want change too, but change doesn't mean a new political party in power, or a candidate that looks different.
Obama is the first candidate to run for the most important job in the world and convince people that experience has NO value at all. The power of marketing.
hmm..polls still show a 50-50 split...I see that as fairly divided...perhaps i'm mistaken...
Remember a few years ago..McCain was the favorite republican by many major democrats.
Obama has no bi-partisan record...he actually has failed to attend many votes....those that he has shown up for, he voted present more often than not...
This is not the man I would pick to run the largest company in the world.
Obama has promised to meet unconditionally the heads of terrorist societies and sue for better relationships with our declared enemies but he refuses to meet with our own commanders in the field! Thats not the kind of change I want to believe in. Even if its presented in a very sincere and soft spoken manner.
Saddam was formally warned 11 times by the UN after an incredible amount of meaningless pursued diplomacy. Obama still wanted to talk some more and do nothing. He vows to be some terrific President, but has done so little as a Senator.
Hahahaha, the epithet of the short memory span you americans have. Bush violated a lot of laws to go into Iraq, and that was while the UN had their inspectors and they were not finding anything - therefor diplomacy ought to have been the road to walk down - not a so obviously horrendous war.
You must of been watching news on another planet. Iraqis were constantly non-compliant with inspectors. It was the inspectors who complained to the UN of being put off. Get your facts right. Saddam had already invaded 2 countries and poised to invade a third.
Funny stuff from a Swede. Sweden has no military, so it can only talk...talk...talk. If the world becomes Nazi....Swedes become Nazi. If the world becomes Islamic fascists.....the Swedes become Islamic fascists. Thanks for your silly insight and keep the talk talk going. LOL.
Many Americans could care less about job experience except in our own jobs and lives where we realized the importance. Apparently, what we really want is a very soft spoken therapist who will tell us everything will be alright. Not realistic change, but Change we can BELIEVE in?
Obama has been a junior senator for 3 yrs., 2 of which he has been running for the presidency. He has not done much of anything as senator, but promises to be this great president. Can the american people be conned with slick charm. Yes we can, Yes we can.
I am so very gratful I saw your link, now I can say what I wanted to say about the PBS interview of Rev. J. Wright. One of my Buddhist friends called asking me how do they support Rev. Wrignt as he is actually talking about the major belief of Buddhism. The Buddhist call it CAUSE and AFFECT what Rev. Wright calls Chickens coming home to roost. They were not only shocked with this connection they are now angry that their religious, spiritual beliefs have been attacked by those sound bites,WOW
In my lifetime, I cannot recall a political candidate who made more sense when he/she spoke than Barack Obama does. I really hope that the American people are able to see through the usual bulls*** and realize what an amazing opportunity we have before us in electing this man.
Use that feeling as motivation to take action. Talk to people. Help them understand. Volunteer to work on the campaign. One of the things I really like about the Obama campaign is how it works from the grass roots, bottom-up, with people getting involved and working to make sure this guy gets elected. You can go to his web site and find out how to be a part of history.
Look any good person who look and hear this answers from him, will knows or get the filling thats it comes from his heart and he means it.This man God makes him to be good and thats the way he is brought up. God bless you and the entire USA.
THAT is what made me vote for him. When you hear what he says you make the judgement of if he is bulshitting or if he truly believes wht he says. When he speaks I get that tingle and I can't help but think he truly wants to help this country prosper. OBAMA NATION
I swear if America was to create a worldwide poll on who is the more electable well liked candidate. Barack will win in a landslide. Barack if the Americans are stoopid enough not to elect you 09. Please migrate to Australia..so you can become our next Prime Minister!
Obama is the man that the whole world needs I believe that most people from all over the world would prefer him to be president we need more peace, and fairness in the world I don't think you would get that from Hillary. she would be America's answer to Margaret Thatcher and no one wants that believe me she's not the right women for the job!
The people of America are so fortunate to have a presidential candidate like Barack Obama. He is a true inspiration and a credit to Americans everywhere.
He believes what he says! He is a fighter for the people that is why I,(a republican) voted for him in the primary and will again be voting for him in the general! go away hillary and let this man begin the real fight!
Some of those words about fighting came from his heart. He doesn't just talk about bringing people together, he really understands the process, and he believes in himself and the American people. This is key sign of a true leader.
Our Media-Elect. Congrats, CNN.
