Also, Obama didn't just incidentally "mention" his father. That's quite vague. He mentioned his father in the specific context of drawing a contrast between him being president and the fact that when he was born, it would have been difficult for his father to even be served in a restaurant.

I noticed that this coverage was SLIGHTLY different than what i saw on NBC (MSNBC) which showed Pres. Obama slowly nodding when Lowry prayed for the day "tanks would be beaten into tractors."
