@AnaEnigma Nope, that was one wash for me. I like to use more than a little bit when washing my hair. I like to make sure I have enough to apply to my scalp, my roots, and the rest of the hair shaft paying extra special attention to my ends.
@natrlchallenge Sorry for the delay in an answer. You don't need to mix the mud wash. You can use the Terressentials as is or you can just mix up some bentonite clay. It's really all up to you. The Terressentials alone is great, I mix it because I find I need more than 2 tbsp to wash my hair every week.
you have the ingredients to make the wash at home already. aloe , clay , essential oils or any oils, infused distilled water, honey. just for example. check out my COCONUT HAIR MUD WASH AND LEMON HAIR MUD WASH VIDEO. save your money, spend it on ingredients instead of store/web purchased products. no shipping
@Roots4U45 I love Terressentials, not only the hair wash but the company in general. I like how they promote an organic lifestyle, so I will continue to support them. I don't live near a linden flower, wildcrafted bay, or petitgrain tree (additional ingredients found in the Left Coast Lemon) so I would have to pay for shipping regardless. If people like making their hair wash from scratch that's cool with me, but I prefer to support a small business that competes with larger corporations.
@Roots4U45 thanks i'll try this....i hate ordering products online and would like to learn to make it myself....you never know when you'll be too broke to buy from them! lol...
@ladiepink Yes, depending on your hair length you may need to add less or more bentonite clay. When I shot this video I used around a scoop and a half, but now I'm up to two scoops because my length has increased. I part my hair in four sections and apply it to each section. If I make too much I putt the leftovers in an empty bottle and store in the fridge until next week's wash.
I have used BC treatments before and I just purchased the terresential wash. How does the BC compare to the wash? I love the idea of mix the BC with the terresentials and I am thinking I may be able to add honey also.. Thanks! Great Idea
@NaturalMaxQueen I can definitely say that the Terressentials smells soooooo much better than the BC alone. Honey sounds like a good idea for added shine and moisture, let me know how that goes.
I've never used the BC alone to wash my hair, I've always mixed it with my Terre. because I discovered the Terre. first, but I find they all rinse out easily and leave my hair clean. I use the marshmallow root to make my hair soft, the mixture w/o it made my hair kind of hard. Hope this helps!
What is the size of the container you are mixing everything in? Are you detangling with the clay in your hair? Are you deep conditioning after using? Is it difficult to remove? How long do you leave in it after applying? Where did you purchase your marshmallow root liquid? Thank you for sharing!!!
Hey, how many applications do you get out of the mixture you made in this video? That looks like a lot of mixture, like more than 2 treatments.

This mixture is meant for a full hair wash right?

I FIND THAT ADDING THE LIQUID TO YOUR CONTAINER FIRST THEN ADD CLAY A LITTLE AT A TIME REDUCES LUMPINESS. YOU WILL HAVE A SMOOTHER CONSISTENCY

@apatte4975 I tried your suggestion and it was smoother but I still had clumps. Thanks for the tip.
