The worst part of the vampire bug is that even with the mod to fix this the colour skin still reverts back to the default. That is what pisses me off about Bethesda . We the gamers are not suposed to be tampering with the ini files or looking for fixes for bugs that ruins the game for the people. They release every game in a state that makes you wonders how it passed the quality control. Oh and don't let me start with the damn micro stuttering that plagues all their games.

If so, then that area is called Deepscorn Hollow, a free home you get if you download the Vile Lair DLC that's geared towards Dark Brotherhood player characters and vampire player characters. It's located south of Leyawiin, about as far south in Cyrodiil as you can go before hitting open ocean. But as I said, you need to buy/download it first.

@xkronic69knightx No, it was mithril. Mithril is a light-armor and it is quite weak. I believe it is just above silver? The armor you get at the end looks like a golden, patterned version of Imperial Armor, which you see Martin wearing during the great-gate fight.

theres a glitch that your facial features are reset to default as a vampire. however nowhere online i can find a suitable solution so i'll post the method i always used. stand in front of a door that when you go through it autosaves (like a cave or something, or the dark brotherhood well entrance) save your game. walk through the door and let it autosave. then load your manual save. if not fixed, load the autosave. that should fix your face. wont fix the oversized helmet glitch though

@boced0001 You have to join the dark brotherhood, complete some missions. And then the vampire will ask you if you want to become a vampire. You sleep, he bites you and then you turn in a vampire. :D

Lol, I actually let the Dark Brotherhood dude make me a vampire. Now I can't find enough grand soul gems to fix it... I had to run all the way across the Imperial Bridge in daylight while I was burning, and I survived on healing spells and potions. I don't wanna do that again. @avpthegreat not possible. the cure is permanent. can't be turned back into a vampire unless using console commands, and if you could access the console doing the quest would be useless because you could just remove the vampirism through console commands.

@SuperSANTACLAUS1 Darkbrotherhood missions. eventually the head guy whos name has slipped my mind will ask you if you want to become a vampire, the quests are super easy and you will wake up and become a vampire, from there drink blood untill you become a full vampire
