Elle s'appuie en grande partie sur les élucubrations de Maurice Bucaille, un médecin français ne connaissant à peu près rien à l'islam. Internet donne suffisamment d'informations sur lui et la faiblesse de sa méthode pour qu'il soit nécessaire d'en dire plus.
