i just got this camera an its nice errbody keep sayin neg stuff but they cant afford it is y ,,,,i love it zoom quiet or loud depend on setting optical zoom is loud .......only thing its lackin iz pause button during filming,800 shouldve been da price...its so nice
So i have a question, does anyone know how do i skip like he did in the video... im gettin this camera for christmas.. but how do i skip or is it called pausing? like when your filming something in front of you and you turn somewhere else or so.. what is that? someone tell me please.
@AryaInk you don't have a lot of control for video. The more light the better, but if you have low light or indoors, I would suggest a tripod. Movement would cause the "auto" functions to continuously adjust.

I have been playing with the zoom and it flies right in which is not good across the board...holla back! anybody else think LANC control for the video recorder would have been nice?
Got mine today, $169 at WalMart!! I've been happy with its's older sister, Finepix s700, but mine has aged a bit and had a couple of annoying problems like the flash no longer stayed up and had overexposure problems in the sun. It looks like it will take a while to get adjusted, but the few pix I took today look great, and the screen is so much better.
@BHimesx if you are referring to "continuous", no. however, if you are cleaver, you can just shoot in video mode and "extract" individual frames from the video. Just a thought. ;)
@Jazcee@BHimesx actually, yes you can. up to 20 shots. i have this camera. there is a continuous mode button on the top, you can choose from 3 shots to 20. i use it often when i am trying to snap photos with small children or animals.
@BHimesx Yes this camera will take up to 20 continous shots .you push the button on top by the on/off switch and it brings it up on the screen. pick from 3,10or 20 pics.

how about the panoramic mode?? is good? i like this camera, but im not sure, the sony cybershot hx1 is a good camera too, but 199$ for this fuji is awesome, what do you think about those cameras?
@elmismisimo23 I haven't checked those cameras. I've had some issues with video files from lower end Sony cameras playing on my iMac, so I don't consider them under $1000.
Do you have to record in widescreen? I have a nikon s6000 and I can only record in widescreen. I was thinking about buying this (it has a good price) but if I didn't like it I was going to buy a panasonic lumix dmc-fz35
