@randycornhole They L is silent, I think you might need to learn how to pronounce it. Go ahead and check google definition, webster, the freedictionary, dictionary'com, or any other online dictionary with audio pronunciations and you'll see.
very cool, but for me, the way to adjust the pins of the chip is to use tweezers, because holding it like that can cause damage to the chip (e.g. static), well that works for me especially on sensitive chips like the LM13600 and the likes. :D
@SwanSongRecords It's called a silent letter. Look it up on your favorite dictionary site before making incorrect assumptions. You will see something like this: [sod-er]
@darandomizer2 It might be a silent letter for you but not for most. As long as I live, I'll never understand why Americans don't pronounce the L in solder, and for that matter they drop the H in herb or herbal. Just one of those things that tend to amuse and slightly irritate those of us around the world :)
FYI connecting your cmoy to your ipod through the headphone jack is a really bad idea. In some ways it defeats the point. The problem with the ipods internal amp is not just that it isn't powerful enough but that it compromises the sound quality. Therefore it is better to connect it via the line out using a Line Out Dock (which can be had cheaply on ebay). You can still attach the LOD to the cmoy permanently in the same manner as the video only you will have noticeably better sound quality.
I am not sure there... it seams to me that they are running a pretty much well worked commercial for some companies ! Besides the whole DIY point has been missed... for it is all far too expensive and in this form we run in to th industry spider web ... it is not ALTERNATIV craft anymore... we may just as well buy it new !!!
Actually you can build the C'moy for as little as probably 15 bucks, they were saying you can go up to as much as 100 bucks if you start using crazy high end audiophile grade components.

1) Hold your breath.
2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.
If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker
