@yuch1102 Anytime I refer to "working/developing/improving" a player's attributes, I'm talking about doing that in Association Mode. In Association Mode, there are Development Drills. You can have any player perform any drill (if you have the required amount of hours for it). If you do well and pass the drill, you'll receive added point towards specific attributes. Certain Development Drills reward certain attributes (including DNK, VERT, Standing Dunk, etc). Increase a player's skills this way.

Can really change how the player will dunk during an alley (especially oop'n to the cpu). It's just where you throw it from & how close you are to the teammate when attempting an alley.

Left-Trigger + A-Button throws it. Use the Left-Thumbstick while pressing the two to help control it. The Pass attribute of the player throwing the oop is very important.

It's kinda hard to explain that because it's not 1 particular thing that I look at. Really, it's just when I see they can't go any higher on their shot attempt. But, their Shot Timing is what really matters and what you should practice. Some players dont require you to release the shot at their top of their jump to make buckets.

I didnt say that there's a player who doesnt require you to release the shot. I said that "Some players dont require you to release the shot at their top of their jump..."

What you're talking about can sometimes happen with the cpu controlled teammates just cutting to the basket. However, there are plays that give you alley-oop attempts (off cuts or picks) in playbooks. Refer to your team playbook, look through it thoroughly, and practice them to find some attempts that you may be looking for.

hey zihin, i have a question, im having a problem initializing the double team consistently on defense. it can be for the full court press or the transition game, in the paint, or on the top of the key. the defenders i use to initialize the double team are good defenders as well, but sometimes when i press the double team button nobody does anything. am i suppose to initialize it manually after pressing the double team button every time or is it just something that im not doin correctly? thanx

Make sure that you've initiated LockOnD when guarding the person you want to double. Then hit the LB-Button to intiate the double and use Icon Switching to Rotate.

when denying someone, once the deny animation starts should i just hold L2 or L2 + left analog towards the chest? will one of those make it harder for the opponent to break the deny?

Refer to Part V ..... Off Ball Defense (Deny) for help with that particular instance. Also, while in Deny, use the Right-Thumbstick to keep up with him (once he makes moves) or to make it harder for the opponent to break away.

Let go of the Sprint Button. You spin out of control because you're still holding on to turbo. Sporadically hit turbo when doing iso moves. After you complete one, let go of it (for a split sec) until you go into your dribble drive. You're addicted to the Sprint Button, lol!

Wait a split moment after you start moving & make sure you're holding the Left-Thumbstick in the right direction (camera relative) so your player wont just take off without being in control.

Yo zihin, i stopped by the ign boards and noticed you put up new vids. I've been waiting on these for a long time man. I checked out this one because one of the comments thanked you about the alley oops.  Anyway, thats the play i use too! And i didn't even get it from you this year. 1. You must press the Left-Trigger + A-Button to throw the Alley-Oop pass. It's just the Left-Trigger squares you up to help deliver a more accurate pass.

2. Use Directional Icon Passing to throw a pass to a particular player.

Alright so I noticed you took a shot with CP3 right in the beginning and it missed..

Put back dunks are very hard to time. It's like getting rebound but without the Y-Button. Use the Right-Trigger + Right-Thumbstick (towards to Power Dunk direction of goal, camera relative) to attempt a putback dunk.

Yes. Just be nearer to Oden than Lamarcus and Press the B-Button. That initiates the basic Pick & Roll attempt. Also, there are plays in the Blazers playbook that have a high Pick & Roll for the PG & C.
