Season 1 was fantastic, 2 was still good but getting repetitive, 3 was alright but was getting kind of weird...4 was getting bad and then it went all downhill from there. Season 8 started picking up, but that finale ruined pretty much all the good feelings people had about it. Season 9 was probably their best, perhaps only being bested by season 1. Now season 10 is starting off well, but it still needs some more time to judge it.

I'm sick of these people saying "the show isnt the same anymore, its bad now, waah-waah." Smallville has evolved into what it needed to, in order to be taken more seriously as the years went by. If teenaged Clark was still all chummy with Lex today in season 10, it would just be cheezy and crap. Green Arrow, Lois Lane, Brainiac and villainous Lex, have really changed the show for the better. Did we really think it would stay teen friendly as Clark grew up? Can't wait for Season 10 :)

yes. Smallville was a teen soap and it didn't try to be anything else. The effort put in trying to be more a serious show these last two seaosons and following the DC world has only landed them cornier episodes and over dramatic etc. etc. and plot lines that don't add up. I sometimes feel like im watching a similair show only not as good as the first. All in all I love smallville as wellm i grew up with it, and i cnt wait for season 10 :D

NOTHING makes sense in this show anymore, but looking back at this promo, it had a LOT of potential that is sadly wasted in the season 9 and 10! sad how it started something GREAT and PREMIUM, and now it ended with MILLIONS finally having the end to wave BYE to it!

Lol. I was there for the beginning of Star Trek Enterprise and Smallville in 2001. Too bad that Enterprise didn't reach its 7th season like The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager did or surpassed them with a 10th season. It was cancelled in 2005. :( It was great as the other Star Treks were. I might be still sad that Enterprise ended before its prime but I'm very happy that Smallville got a chance to. I'm a huge Star Trek and Superman fan. I love both of them.

I really enjoyed the way WB marketed Smallville when it first started. I miss the cornfields and the feeling of "Fall" in all the ads. The CW is awful.

the BIG THREE, Michael, Tom and Kristin, along with John Schneider, John Glover and Anette O'Toole made the show sustain so far...
