I would say that there are the same divisions within skateboarding now as there were 10-15 years ago. You have big rail/gap skaters like Duffel, Sandoval, Machnau, Figurola, etc., Tech/gap skaters like Prod, Mike Mo, Biebel, Desarmo, etc. "street" skaters like Pappalardo, Brian brown, Dill, Puleo, etc. Weird ass stuff (creative) skaters like Haslam, barletta, motta, etc. plus probably more categories that i forgot.

You just need to look harder for cool skaters
