the very first song is a great example of tribal fusion bellydance. It's a form of follow the leader based on cues from the leader who is positioned in the front left. you can see them change out leaders, and also slightly look over to the left for the cue to the next move/combo. It can be a flick of the wrist, look over the shoulder ~ any little body gesture. The second song is a signature UNMATA dance.
As a student in their classes, I can tell you they have us dancing that stuff... and it is NOT choreography. ;) They have sets of moves you do one set on the pre-designated cue, and then watch the leader and take the next cue... and do the next set! impressive no? *grins* no mind reading, just good dance technique!
You mean that they learn tons of "combinations", they practice it A LOT and then when they're on a presentation they watch the leader - so, if the leader does one movement or another, they know which combination they're supposed to do...if I'm right, they're FANTASTIC *___________* !!! Wow!!! Am I right? =D
the second song is Flaco 81 by street drum corps

That's cool, but you tell me how that is improv, that's a choreography if I;'ve ever seen it... unless they are able to read eachother's minds.
