Fukn pisses me off how he says "forged" arrowheads from England were imported and traded to Indians..., anyone can see they are flat steel cut to shape! The Indians adapted.., give credit where its due ffs.., the australian aboriginals walked 100's of miles to steel a horseshoe lol and after halving them sharpened them into axes. If the arrowheads were imported then the English made better medieval arrowheads.., something a miss when white folk gotta import basic shapes cut out of flat steel lol
if i was around then and there i wud help the natives even tho im white but if i was there when the lakota were being attacked or somin id fight for them cuz the army from the forts were a disgrace to us white people plus if it werent for native americans we wudnt have domestic horses or great medicines and thts why all native americans r my idols
@lionsexlover we would not have sweetcorn either. i saw a programme about how, over thousands of years, natives changed a plains grass into corn on the cob through selective breeding
I'm very glad this show told the little known truth about the feather headress, and I did not know that the indians thought teamwork was dishonarable.
@brnleague99 You can purchase the episodes individually from The History Channel's online store. Just google History channel and I'm sure you'll find your way.
@AnoukeSu The only problem with this show is that you have to buy individual episodes on the History Channel website, and each episode costs $25, so getting all 27 DVDs they have available is gonna cost you a LOT. I could understand $10 for an episode, but $25 for a 40-minute episode I can see on TV is too much. As much as I want this show on DVD, I'm gonna have to wait until the prices go down a LOT to buy them.
This was such an awesome show. Before histor y channel was as bad as it is now. It isnt even about history anymore. They still get their facts straighter then military channel
